Rachel's P.O.V

Deaths are not unusual in the infirmary. But in this case it was completely different because it was the King! Not to mention that Zayn guy I happened recognized from school a few years ago, who happened to be dating the Princess. It was absolutely chaotic right now in the hallways except for the Infant Ward. Which was where I was at now. I often came here to settle my thoughts. It was something about the energy that the babies gave off especially when they were sleeping, like now that was...relaxing. It could instantly calm me down after a hard days work of taking care of people.

Now I know what your thinking what's a nineteen year old girl doing working in the hospital? Well it's because the goddess herself blessed me with "special" healing powers along with my fire powers I am able to heal any fatal wound of anybody if its treated in time. I can even attach whole limbs back together. I found out the extent my powers when my mom had Scales, a deadly disease you can get from smoking seaweed, It turns your skin green and everything. It was extremely painful for her.

"RACHEL, SERENITY, AND ALEX ROOM 31D NOW. CODE BLACK. I REPEAT IT'S A CODE BLACK."

I jumped out the rocking chair, at the sound of my name and quietly left the sleeping babies. This was not good Code Black means a patient is in trouble and if I remember correctly thats Zayn's room but that would be impossible he's dead. Using my mermaid speed I zipped to floor D which was next to the ER. Rounding Room 31. I saw Alex trying to calm down the human boys that were Zayn's friends.

"You have to understand my girlfriend is in there mate! We heard her scream she could be in trouble." One said.

"Marina's in there as well-" Another said just as worried. I ran over to them as they tried to push past Alex.

"Hey you guys can't go in there." I yelled running up to them.

"Watch us" Blondie said looking at me with so much anger I stopped in my tracks. He went to open the door but he couldn't. He tried to push it but it wouldn't budge his friends tried to help but it was no use. Me and Alex shared the same concerned look.

"Whats going on? Why can't we-" They were cut off by a high pitched singing. Alex and I turned around to see the glowing eyes of Serenity.

"You showed up late." Alex scolded her. She stopped the singing and glared at him.

"Don't pester me you fool. I could easily have you dead in two high notes if I wanted. Remember I work for the queen NOT silly peasants like yourself. Do I make myself clear Mr. Colton?" She said in a scary mad voice.

Alex cleared his throat and loosened his neck tie. She glared at he walking past us to the guys. "Go sit down over there boys. I will free you from my trance as soon as we get everything back to order." She said and they followed her instructions, sitting on the bench. "Now let's get this show on the road shall we?" Serenity walked to the door and tried opening it but it wouldn't budge even with her Siren strength.

"There's something huge blocking the door and not even I can open it." Serenity said confused.

"Let's try the room next to it they share the same bathroom." Alex said already running to room 33D.

Marina's P.O.V

My heart stopped and I whipped my head towards Zayn's still body. The heart monitor was speeding up. No that is impossible! How?

Zayn slowly started getting his tanned skin back.

"Zayn!" I ran to his side. "Zayn, Oh my goddess. Get a doctor! " At the sound of my voice he started convulsing around and he started making these inhuman noises.
