Marina's P.O.V

Zayn tackled Kane to the ground punching him repeatedly yelling a bunch of profanities. I continued to struggle in the confines of my chair. Suddenly Kane, using is fire abilities, sent Zayn flying in to the wall then falling to the ground. Kane staggered to his feet with a deadly cast over his features. His hands caught fire.

"ZAYN!! GET UP! KANE YOU BASTARD! FATHER PLEASE...Please stop this I'll do anything." I said as tears welled up in my eyes. He looked me straight in the eyes.

"Kill him." He commanded.

"With pleasure."

I saw red as Kane pulled out his sword from its hilt glaring at Zayn. Zayn just looked at me and mouthed the words 'I'm sorry, Love' as sword met with his heart. I let out a heart wrenching scream the same time he did. It was as if I was watching in slow motion as he drew his last breath and his eyes shut. With brute strength I escaped my chain and was on my knees next to him, pulling out the weapon from his chest.

"Oh goddess Zayn? No Zayn, wake up. Z baby please no, no, no, no. Please Zayn you promised! Get up! get up! No I love you goddamn it!" I beat on his bloody chest. I couldn't come to terms with..I refused to believe he was gone. "Zayn! You said forever and always...you remember." I cried caressing his cheek with a shakey hand leaving blood trailing down his stone like face.

****Flashback****

"When can I open my eyes?"

"Soon babe we're almost there. Patience is the key to happiness." Zayn explained laughing lightly.

"Hardy har har. You think your all wise with those philosophy's you get from books." I told him as I continued to walk blindly through the Malibu Beach sand.

"I don't get them all from books, some come from poems and music..." He replied in a sing song voice.

"Smartass" I mumbled.

"Hey! That's sexy smartass to you missy..Oh we're here." He said excitedly.

I let my hands fall from my eyes and gasped at the beautiful layout. In the cave we often hung out on weekends was a large blanket surrounded by pillows, candles and my favorite flowers, white lilies. Soft music was playing from a small radio that sat off to the side.

"Do you like it?" Zayn asked nervously. I turned and gave him a bear hug.

"I love it!" I told him placing kiss on his cheek.

We sat and talked for what felt like days after finishing the fantastic food Zayn's mom had prepared for us.

"I wrote something for you, Love. Would you like to here it?" He questioned shaking his shaggy hair from his eyes.

"Yes!" I said jumping in place.

"Do say anything till I finish k?"

"Okay..." I say smiling more then a human child on Christmas. He pulled out his guitar and started strumming expertly on the strings.
