Chapter two

Peridots pov!

Before we knew it lunch was over and we were all heading to our lockers to get our books for the next class coincidentally me and lapis's lockers were right next to each other and I quickly found myself getting lost in her blueberry eyes again.

I quickly snapped out of my trance and grabbed my math books because it was my next class. "Hey lapis, what's your next class?" I asked lapis with a grin on my face.

"Math." Lapis responded and my face lit up "That's my next class to!" I exclaimed "oh nice, we can walk their together?" Lapis asked "yeah of course!" I answered back She IS really beautiful- wait no.

Lapis pov!

I was really happy I was walking with peridot to my class and I saw the blonde haired girl smile at me as a blush crept on my face I quickly hid behind my math books out of embarrassment and kept walking to the math class

We got there and I opened the door letting peridot step in first with a small smile on my face we both took our seats together and quickly gave all our attention to mrs. Yellow though we were all instructed to call her mrs.diamond even though it was my first day all the kids said her name when she instructed to so I caught on

Class quickly ended and it was time for my last class. I got up and peridot followed. We both went to our lockers and I grabbed my gym clothes. "What's your next class?" Peridot looked up at me smiling.

I got butterflies in my stomach I have no idea why I feel this way. "Gym yours?" I responded to the small blonde haired girl "gym as well!" She smiled and jumped up once getting her gym clothes and we walked side by side to gym class.

We arrived to the gym and went into the girls locker room after changing I walked out and waited for peridot who quickly came out "peri, your short." I said simply breaking the awkward silence "No I am not!" The blonde haired girl protested "sure are!" I argued back "Nu-Uh!" Peridot argued "Yuh-huh!" After that we stopped arguing and went to do as told

Once gym class was over I said bye to peridot and left the school. I walked into my house my dad was making dinner, it smelled like pasta, and my mom was reading on the couch. "How was your day at school?" My mom asked "fine." I responded plainly and walked up the stairs to my room and flopped on my bed.
