Chapter one

Lapis's pov

I was so nervous and upset that I had to move but my dad found a new job in beach city so I had to. that also meant leaving my old friends and old school behind. I sighed I had just finished eating breakfast "bye mom, bye dad!" I shouted before grabbing my backpack and running out the door.

I walked to the school I was supposed to go to it wasn't far from the house we moved into 3 days ago. The school was called "Beach City Academy". I've always thought academy was to much a a fancy word to put in the name of a normal school. Every one there is probably rich and spoiled. Oh well.

I got to the school and took a deep breath before walking inside. I looked at my schedule I got yesterday. English was my first class. The Bell rung I shrugged and headed there.

Peridots pov

I walked into my English class and sat at one of the seats in the middle. I was kinda short, ok really short, so it had a kinda good view of the board. Then a blue haired girl I have never seen before walks in. She's probably new she had bright blue hair and was wearing a blue shirt with some dark blue ripped jeans. she's really pretty. Wait what I don't think that! She sat in a seat a couple chairs away from me.

I glanced at her and a glance turned into me getting lost in her blueberry colored eyes. I wasn't even paying attention to the teacher anymore. The only people in the room were me and the girl with blue hair and blueberry colored eyes then the bell rang and it was time for the next class.

~time skip to lunch~

Peridots pov

I walked into the lunch room and saw garnet, amethyst, and pearl, and Steven sitting at a lunch table their my closets friends so o walked over and sat at the table and they all smiled I smiled back until I noticed the blue haired girl standing in a corner of the lunchroom she probably didn't know anyone.

"Hey, uh could I maybe invite that blue haired girl to sit at our table she looks new?" I asked nervously "that's actually a great idea, peridot." Garnet commented "yeah of course the more the merrier!" Steven replied "Okay!" I said before walking to her I walked up to her "hi!" I said "uh hi-?" The blue haired girl responded "would you like to sit at a table with me and my friends?" O asked "uh sure, thanks." She said "no problem, by the way what's your name?" I asked "lapis, lapis lazuli." Lapis said "well I'm peridot!" I smiled

We walked to the table and we both sat down "Oh lapis this is garnet, amethyst, and pearl, and Steven!" I said and I smiled "uh hi I'm lapis." Lapis said "nice to meet you lapis!" Steven smiled "uh nice to meet you too?" Lapis responded "Oh and you might wanna know this but at that table is jasper and the jocks, over there is sapphire and her girlfriend ruby, then there's rose and her boyfriend, there both very popular and powerful, I wouldn't mess with them, and then there's pink, she's the principal's daughter and uses it to her advantage, so I wouldn't mess with her ethier."

A/N: in this au ruby and sapphire arent garnet and rose isnt pink

"Ok?" Lapis said "I agree that's pretty much the gist of things." Amethyst said "I'd also stay away from jasper, but ruby and sapphire are pretty nice and pretty much apart of our friend group!" I smiled
I hope lapis and I can become friends.
