Albus POV
It was the day after we'd found James, Alice, Hugo, and Lily missing and barely anybody had gotten any sleep. As I sat at the mournful breakfast table I stared around at the others with dark bags under their eyes we ate slowly and silently and went into the living room hating everything. I couldn't believe I was saying it but I missed James. I never realized what a light in dark times he'd always been with his just serious enough for the situation jokes. I lay slumped down on the couch feeling defeated and held Lily's locket close wanting something of my siblings. I felt Scorp scooch closer but I didn't look, I simply shifted a bit of weight onto him leaning against him slightly while I played with the locket. I looked at him and he looked back at me eyes widening comedically I widened my eyes too he simply raised his eyebrows to make his eyes even more wide I narrowed my eyes as if to ask if that's how he was gonna play and he rolled his head dramatically to the side pretending to wipe away tears from the "betrayal" that I'd just done by ending the game. With his back turned to me I smiled mischievously and started tickling him. By the time we both were done everybody was watching as we wiped away tears of laughter rolling around on the floor. Aunt Mione rolled her eyes but she was smiling as she unconsciously lay her head on Uncle Ron's shoulder. Me and Scorp now sitting crisscross on the floor of Number 12 Scorp having picked up the locket since I was feeling better and looked at each other eyebrows raised and came to a conclusion.

'We we're gonna be the fill in Alice and James'

Harry had caught on to what we were doing and tried to stop smirking at the romione action that was goin on. We jumped up and I made my way behind my aunt and uncle and jumped up behind them.

"There's my favorite couple!"

I exclaimed leaning my arms against the headboard of the couch they were sitting on. Uncle Ron jumped having been looking at Aunt Mione surprised since he had been shaking his leg anxiously hand resting on top of it and she had put her hand on his to prevent it.

"Couple?!"

he said his eyes widening

"we aren't dating albus"

Hermione said turning her head so she could see him.

"yet"

I answered rubbing my hands together smiling eyes shining with mischief at Aunt Miones pink tinged cheeks. She quickly looked away and turned to dad and started talking about how the trial might go when a loud

'BANG'

sounded echoing through the house everybody stopped what they were doing and held up their wands but then all was black.

"instant darkness powder we'll never be able to see anything!"

Exclaimed a voice through the darkness. Then I heard it.

"ALBUS-"

There was a yell for my name I looked around wildly, I knew that voice. More muffled yelling. I made my way quietly towards they sound reaching into the darkness to feel for him. Then I felt his cold hand and I grabbed it firmly pulling but somebody was pulling back I lost my grip from surprise but as I tried to tighten it again his hand slipped away. And with a shattering noise and a crack they were gone. Slowly the blackness cleared up and the adults went to search the area but I stopped them.

"they're gone"

I croaked trembling slightly.

"How do you know kid?"

Mad-Eye asked gruffly.

" S-Scorpious h-he called for me and I w-went towards him but w-when I tried to grab him s-somebody was p-pulling him away... then they left. I felt it I KNOW they left."

I said looking at the ground desperately trying not to cry. Rose came over and hugged me and I kept my eyes trained on the ground then I caught a glimpse of a mirror pushing Rose off of me I bent down quickly reached out and pulled a shard of Lily's mirror from under the ugly green couch near the door way. 'That's what the shattering was!' I thought 'Smart Scorp' Without thinking I whispered

"Harry Potter my Father"

Into it and Potter Place's dining room showed up as a hologram dropping the now hot glass onto the ground the hologram got big enough for everyone to see it and there they all were. Mum, Dad, All of the Weasleys, and all of the Longbottom's. The past looked at their future selves eyes wide. I suppose I would have too, they were all much broader more muscles than the scrawny kids here.

"SO YOUR SAYING THAT THE KIDS ARE CURRENTLY BEING TORTURED BY DEATH-EATERS AND POSSIBLY WORSE BELLATRIX?!"

Uncle Neville said voice raised in outrage. Uncle George, Uncle Bill, Aunt Angelina, and Aunt Fleur were nodding their heads in agreement with similar looks on their faces.

"Nev we don't know ANYTHING the kids called us told us and left! I don't think THEY-"

Dad said trying to calm everyone down his eyes wide when he was cut off by a crack that carried a old and tired Kreacher who's hand was bleeding and a dirty scared Lily Luna.

"LILY!"

Everybody from the future that was in the past seemed to yell only then did all of the adults in the future seem to notice them in the mirror, they seemingly decided Lily and Kreacher were more important than us in that moment and as they fussed over them, Grandpa Arthur made his way too us.

"Lily has enough people right now Albus are you alright? Is everybody there this is wonderful we got Lily back! We-"

Grandpa Weasley said relieved.

"They have Scorpious you might have Lily but now they have Scorpious too."

The words just tumbled out of my mouth tears stung my eyes, saying it made me face the reality of it, the room went very quiet, grandpa and the rest of the room were silent as Mr. Malfoy who had floo'd into the room seconds before looked at the mirror his face of horror twisting my insides. The little color that was there in his already pale face seemed to drain even more than it had done before when he'd received the patronus about the 4 children being missing the past.

"Scorp..."

Mr. Malfoy breathed huskily.
