𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚕𝚊𝚗 𝚙𝚛𝚝. 3

Gently Alice and James prodded Lily and Hugo awake and slowly but surely their small delicate eyelids fluttered open and Lily's eyes lit up seeing James alive and awake she sat up from her slumped state quickly ignoring the pain in her shoulder from the uncomfortable position she'd been in for so long.

"james!" she exclaimed a look of relief on her face

"hello there lilybug" he whispered grinning gently and reaching out to pull a piece of hair that had landed in her mouth while she was sleeping out. Tugging her close he hugged her tightly as she buried her face into his chest letting out a stifled sob and hitting him.

"shhh i'm here lils I promise i'm not going anywhere" he soothed closing his eyes and gritting his teeth in distress of his younger sister's state & in physical pain. His ribcage and legs really hurt from all that falling. Slowly he unstuck himself from her and trying not to wince and failing he squatted down to the younger ones level.

"guys... me and A have a plan, ok?"

They nodded in confusion but James simply continued on.

"good. your going to have to trust us alright, just follow our lead"

Slowly standing up again he bit his cheek to stop from yelping out in pain. Alice looked at him with concern and kicked herself mentally for not being able to do a better job at patching him up, she lead the kiddies over to a corner they knew, or at least hoped, the kids wouldn't be seen in and took a shaky breath in. They didn't want the kids to be seen until the very last moment when it was necessary so they'd tested out the corner a bit but they obviously couldn't be OUTSIDE of the cellar so they couldn't know for sure. All they could do was hope it was enough so as to if they got caught the kids would go untouched. She nodded at James and he looked at her uncertainly then ripping off the bandaid he called out in a hoarse whisper yell,

"kreacher!"

Alice looked around scared somebody might've heard and James just squeezed her hand in comfort then a semi-loud 'CRACK' echoed they all either jumped or flinched or both. Kreacher was looking around confusedly his old age showing more than ever in the dim lighting of the flickering torch. His bulbous like eyes turned on James and Alice who were standing close together in the front corner of the room awkwardly so as not to be seen and his eyes widened even more if possible. Scurrying over he looked up at James concerned at the bruises and cuts he had and then did a one over on both James and Alice looking them up and down and tisked.

"Younger master James! Young Master James's friend Mistress Alice! ohh Master Harry will be ever so pleased. He's been worried! Kreacher has been worried too! Making mugs of hot chocolate for Mistress Ginny, sitting and talking with her they all are very very worried!" Kreacher said his hairy ears twitching as he shook his head and mimicked Ginny shaking his finger at James. Alice had to stifle a laugh as her eyes filled with tears of joy.

'they were getting out. it'd worked. THEY WERE GOING TO GET OUT!'

Pressing a palm to her mouth as she grinned she bent down to kreacher and took a deep breath as James's eyes lit up processing the information that their plan had worked and looking down at Kreacher.

"Kreacher! Okay... umh uh you can get us out of here right? You can disapparate us back to the future right?"

Kreacher stopped looking stern and a look of surprise and amazement crossed his face.

"Kreacher is in the past?"

He asked curiously his thick eyebrows raising and his head tilting. James smiled a bit.

"Yeah kreacher you are. But we need to get out of here. Can you do that, can you think of getting back to Potter Manor in 2016?"

He asked gently bit the urgency in his voice was present as he looked around still scared somebody might come down.

"Oh yes! Kreacher can try, no Kreacher WILL try, though Kreacher can only take two at a time so"

Kreacher said smiling his eyebrows framing his face into a look of understanding and kindness.

"Take Lily and Hugo Kreacher and then come back for us can you do that?"

James said cutting him off excitedly.

"Young mistress lily and young master hugo are here? I shall take them to Master Harry at Potter Manor then."

Kreacher confirmed Lily and Hugo took it as their cue to come out and Kreacher beckoned for them to hold his hands but as they obeyed rushed footsteps came echoing across the stairwell Alice looked in horror as 3 death eaters saw Kreacher getting ready to disapparate in the middle of the cellars floor.

"Kreacher don't come back. Do you hear me? DO NOT COME BACK FOR US UNLESS WE CALL FOR YOU"

James said rushedly bending down to Kreacher so that the death eaters couldn't hear Kreacher looked torn between arguing for his older masters safety and obeying them to get the younger ones home. Eventually he nodded but it was too late the death eaters were inside the cell and had Alice and James pinned against a wall in less then a second. They scattered. Lily and Hugo dodging death eaters terrified for their safety and Kreacher furious and petrified as he dodged around hexes and curses that were being thrown at all of them trying to get a good shot to disarm some of the death eaters. As spells were cast and blinding jets of light bounced around the cellar Kreacher tried desperately to recognize his masters yelps of surprise and pain and navigated himself towards Lily grabbing onto her he saw a flash of orange hair and jumped over and grabbed hold of Hugo and spun on the spot when he heard the curse being cast.

"AVADA KEDAVRA"

Time seemed to slow, a jet of green light burst from the tip of the wand and a mad laughter erupted as it inched closer and closer.

the light was gonna hit hugo.

Kreacher would've gladly taken the spell for himself if it meant saving Hugo but he knew there most likely wouldn't be a way for ANY of them to get back to Harry and Ginny if he couldn't come back so unwillingly kreacher separated himself from Hugo pushing him away and using him as a platform to push himself the other way so that nobody got the curse and disapparating back to safety with Lily.

Hugo hit the wall and fell unconscious a chunk of his hand missing, splinched. He was losing blood and fast. Alice screamed at the sight.

updated like 3 months later and it doesn't even make sense nor is it good lmao anyways ik i've probably lost a bunch of readers bc well nobody understands your fic if you haven't updated in a while and they only remember the plot of what happened if it's a memorable fic and this *snorts* ISN'T, umh but hello friends been a good while hasn't it i'm back i've updated can't promise you more because idk my life plans umh but i'll try, i got inspiration and motivation from updating my title, description, and first chapter into more of a hook. also genuine question where do you guys even find my fic theres like almost 3 thousand of yall (THANK YOU SO MUCH ABT THAT AGAIN WHAT HOW YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING) and I have to search the full title of the book to even find my fic like 🙂? please inform me cause i'm like curious since i'm in no way up high on any of the hashtags but uh yeah ILL TRY TO HAVE A BETTER UPDATING SCHEDULE BUT I CAN'T PROMISE NOTHING OKAY LOVE YOU
