"I'm sorry"

Steve, Bucky and I gather on a plateau with the rest of the howling commandos. Morita crouches over the transceiver that we had been given. Jones listens to the transmission. Falsworth looks through some binoculars. Dugan and Dernier adjust a winch at the cliff's edge.

"The engineer just radioed ahead.Hydra dispatch gave him permissionto open the throttle. Whatever's on this train, they mustneed it bad." Jones explained 

"Well, they're not going to get it." Morita says.

"I wouldn't be so sure." Falsworth says. 

I walked up to Steve and Bucky. Bucky put his arm around my shoulders as he turned to Steve.

"Remember when I made you ride the Cyclone at Coney Island"  Bucky asked Steve.

"Yeah, and I threw up?" Steve asked back.

"This isn't payback, is it?" Bucky said as he pulled me closer to him.

"Now why would I do that?" Steve said as he looked over to us. Bucky pulled me in closer and locked his lips with mine.

"We were right. Dr. Zola's on the train. Hydra dispatcher gave him permission to open the throttle. Wherever he's going they must need him bad." Jones said as he turned to Steve, Bucky and I. Steve put on his helmet and I put on my mask. Bucky pulled me in for one last kiss before we went.

"Let's get going, because they're moving like the devil." Falsworth said.

"We only got about a 10-second window. You miss that window, we're bugs on a windshield." Steve said as we all placed our handle bars on the wire.

"Mind the gap." Falsworth says.

"Better get moving, bugs!" Dum Dum says. Like that would make me feel any better about this. As the train passes by Steve kicks off of the ground. Bucky, Jones and I follow. It only toke us about five seconds to get to the train.

We landed on top of the fast moving train. I slightly slipped but Bucky grabbed onto me. We walked across the fast moving train till we found a latter on the side. Steve climbed down and opened the door. 

I went down next and Steve helped me into the train car. Bucky came in after me and gave me a quick kiss and closed the door. We left Jones on top to scout. When we got in and turned around to see what was in the cars. Nothing but shelves of boxes.

We walked through the car. I had a bad feeling but kept walking. Bucky held his gun up, I had my knives at the ready, and Steve had his shield in one hand and his gun in the other.

Steve looked through the open door then back at me and Bucky. The bad feeling got worse so I stopped. Steve and Bucky didn't notice and kept walking. As soon as Steve and Bucky walked through the doors they shut.

"Shit." I screamed and they turned around. I turned back around as I had heard people creeping through the train car I was in. I started throwing my knives and pressed the button. This time I had to use my gun as there were too many men for me to take out with my knives.

I heard shooting from the other side of the door as well. The boys had also ran into some trouble. Their guy had the weapons that glow blue. He started firing at them.

After I had thought I had taken down the last of the guys on my side I saw about three more run in. I fired my gun. I ducked behind some of the boxes. 

I saw the boys taking down the guy on their side. I still had two left on my side. I shot one and he went down. The other guy was a lot more skilled. Steve and Bucky blasted the doors open on their end and ran through the hallway that lead to my section.

Bucky watched as I crossed to get to the other side of my section. The guy fired three shots at me. two of them nearly missing and the third hitting my dominate hand causing me to drop the gun. I was left vulnerable. 

Steve opened the door and Bucky came running in and shot the guy. "I had him on the ropes." I said as Bucky ran over to me.

"I know you did, doll." he said before giving me another kiss. Just as he pulled away I heard a gut firing up a gun. the guy from Steve and Bucky's section showed up in the doorway. 

"Get down!" I screamed as I grabbed the shield from Steve. The man fired and it sent me into the left wall of the train. Steve picked up his shield and got in front of Bucky as the man fired again. 

This time the ray ricochet off of the shield and hit the wall I was next to. I got up as fast as I could to avoid being sucked out the side of the train. I stood behind Bucky  as he finally picked up the shield to protect me and him.

Our only mistake was we stood near the open side of the train. As the guy fired at us it hit the shield and sent me and Bucky out the side. We grabbed onto the left over metal that was hanging on.

Steve got up and grabbed his shield and threw it at the man. He then turned his attention to me and Bucky. 

"Bucky! Rose!" He screamed as he started to climb the side and try to help us. Jones over heard what was happening and quickly ran to the train car we were hanging from. We were holding on to a broken piece of metal. 

Bucky was closest to Steve. "Hang on guy's!" Steve screamed as he got closer to us. "Grab my hand!" Steve said.

As Bucky reached his hand out the metal broke on one side. Causing us to shift a little bit. I lost the grip in my right arm as it had been bleeding from the wound.

"No!" Steve said as he reached out to me and Bucky just as the metal gave way. Dropping me and Bucky to our death's. 

Me and Bucky screamed. As we fell quickly into the ravine. I saw Steve shift back into the inside of the train car and fall onto his knees. Steve watched as we plummeted to our deaths.

"I'm sorry Bucky" I said as I hit a rock causing my right arm to break. Or I thought it was just a break. 

"No it's my fault, if it weren't for me you'd still be safe on that train with Steve" Bucky said as he also hit a rock causing his left arm to break. Or once again he thought it was just a break.

"I love you" I said as I closed my eyes waiting for impact.

"I love you too" Bucky said as he also closed his eyes.

After that we hit the ground. The last thing we heard was spoken out of love.
