"Wake the hell up," Katsuki said.

I groaned and sat up. "Good morning to you too, Katsuki."

"Go bathe. I'll send a handmaid in to help you get dressed. You're free for the day, until your first date with Todoroki."

"First date? What will the date be?"

"Dinner and games in one of his studies."

"Sounds fun," I said before rolling out of bed. "You don't need to get a handmaid, though. I can get dressed and stuff myself,"

Katsuki stared at me. "Ya know, no other female I've looked after would deny the... royal service."

I shrugged. "It's just pointless to have someone do these things for me when I can do it myself," I said before yawning again and walking into the bathroom.

...

After I took a bath in that glorious tub, got dressed in an elegant royal blue gown, but I didn't put on any shoes... yet. I put my hair up into a bun, leaving a few curls out to frame my face. and I sat on the bed. While I waited for Katsuki to return, I took the time to really look around the room. There was a large bookcase by the door, filled with books, which immediately took all of my attention from looking around.

I skimmed the bookshelf. There were so many interesting books. Some were fiction, some were nonfiction, about the sea and magic. There were poetry books and books about art. I took out a book about magic and sat down on the bed.

I'm not sure how long it's been, but 27 pages later, Katsuki walked inside, pushing a cart of various foods.

"What are you reading?"

I jumped in surprise from suddenly hearing his voice. "Uh, a book about magic. The origins, why it died out, and other stuff. Wanna eat with me?"

He paused for a moment, looking at a specific dish on the cart. "Only if I can have this."

"Go ahead," I said before grabbing the entire bowl of fruit. Katsuki and I sat in silence, I read my book and ate the fruit while he ate whatever it was that he wanted.

After a while, he spoke again. "So, I'm just supposed to sit here and fucking watch you read?"

"I could read to you if you'd like."

"Whatever," he said.

I smiled and ate a strawberry. "Magic first originated with conjuring magic in ancient Egypt-"

By the time I had finished the book, it was time for my first date with the king.

"I guess that's the end."

"Wow," Katsuki mumbled. "I never knew magic was so influential. It's shitty that it died out, I'd love to use magic, or meet someone with magic."

"I- uh," I paused. "I can use magic."

"You're fucking serious?!"

I nodded.

"Let me see."

I paused for a moment. "Uh, isn't it time for my date?"

Katsuki looked at the time. "We can spare a minute, now show me."

I sighed and grabbed a knife off of the cart. "Give me your hand."

He hesitantly gave me his hand, and I cut his palm.

"OW WHAT THE FUCK-"

"Hold on a second," I mumbled before covering his large hand with both of mine. Our hands glowed a light blue, then I let go.
