After dinner we get sorted into our dorms. I begin to silently panic at the thought of not being near my brother. I look over at harry who was talking away with his new friends. Harry spots me and smiles, a tear slips from my eye. He walks over.

"What's wrong holly?" he asks

"I'm scared" I whisper.

"It's ok now, you don't need to be scared anymore" he says and I nod

He leaves for his dorm and I slowly walk to mine.

"Hi holly there's an empty bed next to mine" Hermione says with a smile

I'm still awake long after everyone else is asleep. I cry silently, I can't sleep without my brother. I feel my heart quicken and I try to take deep breaths. I stand and try to find my brother. I quietly open another door and finally find him. I shake his shoulder

"Hmm" he stirs

"Harry?" I whisper

"What?" he mutters

"Move over a little" I whisper and he moves to give me room.

I get into the bed and close my eyes.

"Holly, wake up" I hear and sit up panicking

"Calm down, it's time for breakfast" harry says and I nod.

"Where were you?" Hermione asks me and I look to harry for help.

"She was homesick and fell asleep in my dorm last night." Harry explained and I nodded.

"Oh, well just be aware that it is against the rules." She says and I nod understanding.

Professor McGonagall walks over to our table to pass out time tables. I look mine over before setting it down to look over breakfast. Everyone around me had already starting eating. I stick with toast and milk.

"Ready, holly?" Harry asks and I nod standing up.

Ron and Harry get us lost on our way to transfiguration. When we finally find the classroom, I couldn't see Professor McGonagall.

I find a seat where I wasn't crowded but wasn't in the open either.

I saw Professor transform from a cat form.

"Nice of you three to finally show up." Professor says and I feel my face heat up in embarrassment and shame.

Harry and Ron sit in front of me and class starts.

I follow Hermione to the potion's classroom.

Professor Snape was rough on harry in class. I looked up and made eye contact with him. He says with a sneer towards me and I immediately lowered my eyes.

"Miss. Potter, perhaps you know the answer." He draws out

I stay silent, my face once again burning with anxiety. I know the answer but the fear is paralyzing.

"I asked you a question miss. Potter." He says intently and I shake my head no.

"Pity." He turns to continue on with class. I stare at the desk willing the tears in my eyes not to fall.

After class was dismissed, I gather my books and run out of the classroom.

After a few weeks pass harry has completely adjusted to school life. He has tons of friends and is always going on adventures. I still am painfully shy, and miss harry. He was my only safe place. I still slept on the floor by his bed for comfort. But I knew it was starting to get on his nerves because of his new friends always making fun of him for it.
