Chapter 15

Kris’s P.O.V

"the winner for the 2012 get closer race is…... drum roll please" mr kim shouted in the mic full of excitement acting like a M.C. Tao and xiumin started imitating the drum roll " please cheer for the winners, kang baekho and Han Jae in” mr kim presented them a whole plate of seafood, beef and pork just perfect for the BBQ.  “alrighties would everyone please take a seat cause we got a special something for the pair that came in last” our M.C kim announced again, “Kris and Lauren could you please make your way up the stage!” M.C kim shouted in the mic full of enthusiasm..… gosh ahjusshi act your age. I put on my sunglasses and made my way to the stage “oh and one more thing before you accept your punishment please link hands and walk up the stage together” M.C kim added, flashing me a mischievous smile, “YAH MR KIM!!” I raged with anger. “Kris are you that embarrassed to go on stage with me, whats up with the glasses!” she appeared by my side, “lets just get this over and done with” I reached my hand out towards her, she took a double take as she looked up at me and looked back down staring at my hand as if I was holding a knife against her throat. Gosh, so dramatic, why can't she just take it and get this over with. I rolled my eyes and sighed heavily, i think she got the message since she finally grabbed my hands and linked her fingers with mine. I walked along, dragging her behind me, with both our fingers linked. “Aigoo isn’t that better now, now bring out the wraps” M.C kim clapped. Luhan came up the stage and set a whole pyramid of lettuce wraps infront of us. The smell of the lettuce bombs hit me, there was a strong smell of wasabi, red chilli peppers mixed with kimchi. Laurens grip on my hand tightened and she took a step back, “Yah what the hell is wrong with you..” I whispered so only she could hear me, “kris.. I can’t take spicy foods, gosh I was born in Australia..” she whispered back. “aishh you can’t even eat spicy food…what an idiot…” “psshhh whatever, I don’t care... Lets just get this over and done with like you said. I hate facing you!” she muttered under her breath, shaking our linked hands off. “YAH LAUREN SHEN!” I scolded her, aish this women..

“ok 1…2..3 start feeding each other!” M.C kim blowed on his silver whistle and cheered with the crowd.

She picked up the chopsticks and picked up a wrap. “sheesh this is going to be my first and last time feeding a jerk like you” she gave me a disgusted look before stuffing a wrap in my mouth carelessly. “YAH…….”

“umnomnomnom hehe yummy right” she stuffed another wrap in my mouth. UGHH im gonna wipe that smile off her face I snatched the chopsticks off her hands still chewing on the wraps, they were actually pretty nice, not really that spicy… “AHjiksdjjssdm” who was I joking it was HOT!! “water! WATER!!” I clenched onto the chopsticks, luhan came rushing and gave me a cup of water, I drank it in one gulp and faced lauren, “Now its your turn stupid pig….” I dropped the chopsticks and with my hands I picked up one of the wraps “Kris, im not joking I really can’t eat spicy food!” she pleaded as if I was going to kill her “there, there now open your mouth ahhh..” I mocked her. I held onto her face, and stuffed the wrap in. she started chewing and chewing, tears forming and rolling down her cheeks. “Kris you stupid jerk… I hate you!” she lifted her hand as if she was going to slap me across the face. She moved her hand swiftly and was just about to touch my face but of course I got to her quicker I held onto her arm and gave her a smirk. “ did you really think I would get hit by you? Stop giving me such a sympathetic look, I wont help you! I ate 2 you need to eat 2” I took another wrap and stuffed it in her mouth

The whole class was watching, I had a reputation and pride to hold I couldn’t go soft. She started coughing and tearing up really badly she shook my hand off and wiped her tears, I couldn’t watch anymore my heart was going soft again.. I walked off the stage,I just couldn’t watch her suffer like that. “YES go kris!” “That was awesome!” “She totally deserved that!!” the students cheered like I did something great as their leader. These kids are just heartless…. But then what am I, im just a hypocrite. UGHH I took a step back and turned around, this girl, why is she playing around with my feelings! I was actually going to walk back to the stage and help her!

I snatched a bottle of water from one of my crazyfangirls and rushed to the stage but as always someone got there earlier.. LUHAN! I watched him wipe her tears off with tissues and helped her drink water. Doesn’t he have any pride, the whole class was watching, Melanie and all his fans. He was just going to make life for Lauren harder to face but then gets to have lauren in return ughh…..i continued watching as she looked up  and faced luhan who was wiping her tears “thanks” she said giving him one of those smiles I haven’t seen for so long….. I clenched my fists in anger and stormed off.

Laurens P.O.V

“now the next performance is by kang tae joo singing a special song for a special someone please welcome him on stage!!” mr kim shouted with energy, it was now the night performances and everyone is waiting for exo-m to perform, especially all the fangirls. I was sitting on the benches with exo-m around me since they were my only ‘Friends’.

“ahem.. hello everyone my name is kang tae joo and im performing this song for cha eunhee”

He walked down the stage and dragged a very embarrassed girl up the stage he sat her down on a chair and started strumming the guitar romantically.

*Oh, her eyes, her eyes, make the stars look like they're not shining
Her hair, her hair, falls perfectly without her trying 
She's so beautiful, and I tell her every day

Yeah, I know, I know, when I compliment her she won't believe me
And it's so, it's so, sad to think that she don't see what I see
But every time she asks me do I look ok, I say*

“hey lauren, we’re going to go and get ready for our performance, I’ll seeyou later” some member whispered beside me but I was too captivated by this romantic confession, I wish someone could do that to me as well…

He sang the song perfectly even though he wasn’t perfect, he captivated the whole audience it was too cute, “eunhee yah nan chuwahaeyo!” wait …..what did he just say!! Did he just say I hate you to her, right after that sweet confession, no that cant be right “hey Mr kim..” I whispered “yeah lauren, you having fun?”

“umm yeah I need to ask one question, you know what tae joo said to eunhee did he say I hate you to her?”

“Lauren you’re joking right? Who taught you that??.....”

Luhan…

“isn’t he sweet he said I like you… not whatever you just said! You my dear got it all wrong…” mr kim continued

So what mr kim said was that luhan lied… and when I was in hospital kris confessed, this was all wrong why would my closest friend lie to me and kris… liking me that seems even more strange, it couldn’t be especially when his like treating me like this!!

the familiar voices of exo-m boomed through the crowd, the people around me went crazy but my eyes immediately   went to kris, the guy who was dancing and rapping so cooly on stage, liked me? The guy who has thousands of fans and the guy who treated me like crap liked me? This has got to be a dream…..

I needed the tuth my brain was going to explode, why did luhan lie? Does kris really like me? Sheesh I ran backstage but was stopped by their manager “hey lauren, im really sorry but after their performance exo-m has to go back to seoul to prepare for another performance, whatever you need to tel them you can tellthem back at the dorm ok?”

But I needed to know the truth, my heart was burning, I was about to die of curiosity. His true feelings I needed to know, why was he making my head spin! This jerk what was he doing to me?

Okays so here’s my longish chapter to make up for the short chappie I posted last time :) but im not happy with this chap, to me it seems to be lacking something ughh it’s sooo boring!!
