Chapter 14

Laurens P.O.V

“so did everyone have a great night sleep? Cause today will be a full packed schedule. So students gather around, I will divide you guys in pairs and give you each a map and a compass. First up would be a bushwalking race from this camp to the BBQ area then we would have special performances from our students ok” mr kim announced pulling out his clipboard. He clicked his pen and started naming the pairs, “MR KIM, I don’t want to go with him, I want to go with luhanniie!!” one of the girls shoved the map at our poor teacher. People were complaining about their pairs and just couldn’t leave mr kim alone. “OKAY!!” mr kim shouted, blowing his silver whistle. “Listen up, the point of this activity, is to meet new friends and get along! So by the time we get back for lunch, im expecting every pair to feed each other lettuce wraps OK? Now let me continue” Mr kim continued to call out names and what surprised me the most was that some of the members of exo-m were actually paired up with their crazy fans! Luhan was paired up with min-ah and that is just WRONG! Mr kim what was he thinking? Did he want to kill my friend, luhan!? “jae hee and min-su, tao and joon-ah, kris and lauren, and last of all jihyun and ……..” I blurred out mr kims voice, this cannot be true! Out of all the people in this class, he chooses him! The person that hates me and treats me like shit! JUST, WHY him!!??  It would’ve been a little better if we didnt have a fight yesterday but we DID!! “MR Kim, PLEASE , PLEASE, PLEASE, pair me with up someone else other………..” before I could even finish my sentence I was already being dragged into the forest, his hand still holding onto my wrist, we walked until we couldn’t hear mr kim or see any other students. He let go of my wrist and pulled out the map. He put on his black rimmed glasses making him look like a hot, sexy nerd, ok… im turning into a pervert and its not good! Up until now we still haven’t said 1 word, nothing at all, just me following him and him following the map. “hey kris, do you even know where we’re going?” I asked, trying to start a conversation. “just follow me, don’t talk” he replied back in his usual cold voice. “fine….” I muttered under my breath. “just let me see the map huh? Just once ok?” I asked nicely, he rolled his eyes “shut up, I know my way” he shot back rudely. Huh? You know your way! Yeah right, gosh then why can’t I see anyone around ,stupid kris? *sigh* he continued walking infront while I lagged behind, bushwalking is tiring… “hurry up you fat pig…” “I CAN HEAR YOU!” I shot back in anger and sarcasm “stupid girl, can’t even take a bit of exercise” he muttered under his breath. I ran up to him, and was about to grab the map which was dangling out of his backpack when he got to me quicker. He grabbed my arm tightly and looked into my eyes, really freaking me out “Just don’t!” he said threateningly, anger and a hint of sadness in his eyes. He slowly let go of my arm and walked off, “Kris, I think you have serious mood swings!” I shouted out hoping he could hear me. “Kris, HEY KRIS! Can we take a break, im tired” i huffed out, slouching down onto the pile of leaves. He turned around for a second and I could see him smiling? Woah how I missed that smile, my heart started beating rapidly and my face was heating up, please don’t tell me I like this jerk! he waved his hand and walked off, what? did that mean he was going to leave me?! I quickly grabbed my backpack and ran after him, I caught up and took a long deep breath, gosh people with long legs walk way too fast. I followed behind him closely holding onto his bag, there was a tree in front of him and he moved one of the branches away and I walked after him when he suddenly let go. Making the hard branch whack into my nose, I quickly let go off his bag and covered my nose “Owwww” I screamed, tears of pain forming.

Kris’s P.O.V

I heard her scream in pain? I turned around and saw that she was covering her nose, her eyesfilled with tears. “Kris I freaking hate yoU! You did that on purpose didn’t you?” she screamed out but it came out muffled since she was covering her nose, why was she even covering it for? “look its not my fault, you were just in my way ok?” I turned around and walked off according to the map. “Kris you’re such a jerk, I don’t even get why, so many people like you! “When you’re such a BASTARD!”

“LOOk I don’t care what you call me! I don’t care about my fans, I don’t even get why they like me ok? So stop complaining and follow me?” I warned her, I’m trying my best to ignore her but she just couldn’t let go! I continued ignoring her until she held onto my wrist,  “Kris…” she quietly said, I turned around and faced her “why are you like this? What happened to you so suddenly…” she whispered, squeezing my hand. For just that moment I was going to confess to her… again, seeing her like this, I really wanted to hug her but…… “nothing, I’ve always been like this…” I pushed her hand away and looked up at her, her other hand was still holding onto her nose when a few seconds later blood was suddenly dripping down. I immediately grabbed onto her hand and looked at her palm, It was covered with dried blood, “YAH PABO!” I screamed out in anger when I saw her nose, blood still dripping out. She immediately wiped her blood off messily with her other hand, I grabbed onto both of her arms and wrapped them around my waist, pulling her closer to me “aishh, why do you have to be so clumsy for, if I wasn’t here with you, you would’ve been dead” I wiped her forming tears with my thumbs and sat her down under a tree. I took out some tissues and held onto her face, I was abt to wipe her nose when our eyes met each others, we stared at each other and I leaned in our nose touching, our eyes still connected when she suddenly broke away moving her face away from mine “kris, it’s alright, it’s nothing…” “YAH! Why are you so stubborn for! I said let me see it” I held onto her face and carefully wiped her nose. “kris im sorry, I don’t know what I did to you but it feels weird, it feels I just lost a close friend..” so that was it.. I was only a ‘close friend’ to her, for me she was the only female I gave my attention to and that’s it. I was just a friend… I stood up and walked off, does she really want me to give up on her or is it only me?
