Laurens P.O.V

Kris would you please stop following me, did I do something wrong or did I kill you in my previous life… oh why? Ever since I got out of the van, he was trailing behind me and I'm getting annoyed! Is he following me on purpose or just heading to the same place I'm going? I sped up, powerwalking turning left and right, walking up the stairs and down again. I l took a quick glance behind me and saw the tall handsome jerk! How can he keep up! Ughhh "Yo Kris!" I heard a random male student call out, I quickly ran for it hiding behind the lockers. Oh thank you random guy!! Thank you so much.

"Hey…" kris answered back coldy, he turned around facing where I was hiding. I ducked down immediately and prayed for the bell to ring already!  "aish… where did she go…" he whispered under his breath but I could still hear him, I had excellent hearing…. So he was following me but why? "Kris I saw you earlier in the morning, why were you following that girl?" wait was he talking about me, pffft rude.. I had a name. kris didn’t reply back it seemed like he was glaring at the guy" wait.. Should I say that loser, you hate her don't you! Why would you even be following her, she should be following you.." the guy continued, his voice was shaky, anyone can tell that he was scared of Kris right now. "She has a name!" kris stated almost angrily. "ah...umm….Lauren right?" the scared boy replied back taking a step back from Kris. Woah is kris standing up for me for the first time or am I just dreaming…. I continued watching the scene. Kris gave the frightened boy a smirk before saying " her name is Pig!" the frightened boy took a deep breath before laughing worryingly " YAH! Kris I thought you were going to murder me, your eyes are seriously so intimidating! I really thought you were angry because of that girl…" he said before hi-fiving kris and walking away. Man I knew it was tooo good to be true, kris standing up for me? in my dreams!

"lauren, do you know the answer for this?" tao asked pointing at his maths questions, I shook my head immediately, I hated maths even more than Kris! I tapped breads shoulder and passed him taos book. Bread rolled his eyes and started writing down the answers for each question, I whispered sorry and gave him a cheeky smile before passing him my book too. Man maths was my worse subject! Trrrrinnnnnngg~ the bell rang for recess, YAY!

Kris's P.O.V

 The bell rang for recess, and I headed straight to the cafeteria place. I had to keep a look out for lauren, I promised luhan since he went to film his part for To the beautiful you. "Xiumin! Have you seen Lauren?" I asked baozhi "uh yeah, I just saw her talking to Mel about her new drama, they're on the second floor near the stairs." just hearing mels name, I ran out of the cafeteria as if my life depended on it. I didn’t know why but I felt worried and scared? My stomach was doing flips and I knew it now, I really liked Lauren!

 I ran around the corner of the stairs and saw Mel and Lauren laughing together on top walking down the stairs, "Mel NOW!" I heard min-ahs voice. Mel stopped her 'pretend' laughing, and smirked at lauren before …..i saw Lauren tumbling down the stairs with my very own eyes. That moment when she fell, my heart dropped. I quickly threw myself running to the bottom of the stairs, I caught her but she was emotionless in my arms. I hugged her tightly " Lauren… you're going to be alright!" I whispered in her ear. "CALL THE HOSPITAL!!!" I shouted, Lay came running towards me " CALL THE HOSPITAL!!" I screamed at Lay, "Lauren…please be alright" I whispered hugging her even tighter.

Laurens P.O.V

"CALL THE HOSPITAL!!" a familiar manly voice flashed through my sleep, I wriggled around keeping my eyes closed "Lauren you're going to be alright…" the guys voice said again. This voice it was so familiar but I never heard it in this tone, worried? I couldn’t sleep anymore I felt something warm holding my hands, I moved slightly up and found someone sleeping  on the side of the bed and his hands cupped into mine. I wriggled around in my blanket and tried to free my hands from the stranger, was he luhan? His body shape looked like luhan but his hair colour was different who was he? "mmmmm..…" the guy muffled turning around and I finally got a clear look of his face, KRIS!! What KRIS!!???? OMG what was he doing here and OMG HOLDING MY HAND!! I quickly shook his hand off and …..yeah …..I woke him up. Just great, time for the extreme awkwardness….. "ahem.." I pretended to clear my throat." your awake?" I hesitantly asked, "umm yeah, uhh um how are you feeling? Does it hurt much?" Kris asked worried? Woah this is new! " not much except I found my leg in a cast when I woke up…...i broke my leg right?" I remember tumbling down the stairs but I can't seem to remember how? "Yeah you broke it while you fell down the stairs, the doctor said you need to keep it on for a couple of weeks until it heals….." I nodded showing him I understood, "soooo where are the other members?" I asked awkwardly. " they left a couple of hours ago, and luhan is filming for the drama. He actually just called from the set, his on his way here apparently." Kris answered back, okay but one thing, why was he still here? I mean wouldn’t he be like the first person to leave not still here talking to me! I turned around reaching for my pillow trying to adjust it so I could sit up but found my back aching. I couldn’t move, kris stood up and reached for my pillow adjusting it for me. I gave him a small smile before sitting up, "You know Kris, you're giving me goosebumps! This is like your first time actually being nice to me and it feels soooo weird." I told him cringing, he just let out a small laugh and looked at me strangely. Uh oh did I do something wrong again? "Are you thirsty?" he asked still looking into my eyes, I looked away avoiding his eye sight. His eyes were intimidating and just made me blush and Lauren Shen doesn't blush in front of guys like KRIS! "yeah I'll go pour water.." I said reaching out for the water jar, on the table next to the bed but before I could reach it kris grabbed my arm and tucked it in under the blanket giving me an expressionless look before he stood up and poured me a glass of water. "here.." he gave me the glass cup, "thanks.." I drank the water slowly so I could avoid talking to him, he was acting strange and not his normal self. "Lauren…" "yeah.." I nodded putting down my cup. " nan chuwahaeyo (I like you in korean)" he said softly but in a stern voice giving me one of his famous emotionless look. What? What did that mean.. Doesn’t he know I don't understand korean? Wait I barely talk to him he doesn’t even know anything about me so obviously he won't know! "look lauren I don't know if you feel the same way about me but give me an answer….." he asked reaching out for my hands? I quickly dug them under my blanket and found myself face to face with kris, really close! I stared into his mysterious eyes and wanted to die! He was killing me with his cold but HOT look! I looked away and saw my saviour standing at the door but looking angry? " LUHAN!" I screamed out, I looked away from kris and waved at luhan OMG I'm saved! "Kris? Why are you still here? You need to rest, I'll stay here with lauren." luhan stated. I smiled at luhan, thanking him in my mind. Kris stood up and walked away from the bed giving me one last cold but warm smile. "take care of her" I heard kris whisper under his breath, woah and he just keeps getting weirder and weirder…

"Luhan OMG thank you sooo much for coming!" he smiled cutely before taking out snacks from the plastic bag he was holding. "YUM! Thanks luhan, your my life saver!" I couldn’t help but smile naturally at him, but why didn't he tell  me he had a girlfriend… these feelings are just all one-sided right? "Lauren eat this it's really delicious and plus I stole it from Taos collection!" he winked at me. "oh and Lauren how are you feeling it doesn’t hurt right?" "it doesn't hurt, I'm just a bit stiff" I lied my back ached and my leg was itchy but I could hold it in at least I feel way more comfortable now with luhan, Kris was just weird.  "Luhan can I ask you a question?" "yeah.." he sat down on the side of the bed, "Luhan you understand korean right?" "yep, do you want me to translate something for you?" "yes, what does nan chuwaehaeyo mean?" I asked him remembering what kris said to me. it probably meant I hate you or you deserve this! I looked at luhan clueless he returned it with a shocked look " Lauren who said that to you?" "oh the psycho Kris.." I answered back immediately. Luhan dropped the mandarin he was peeling and gave me a really strange look. Was he angry? I didn’t know what expression he had on  but it made me feel uncomfortable. "luhan?" I shook his shoulder "oh kris said that to you? Do you really want to know?" "mhm yep!" I replied back. "he said…... I hate you, in korean." luhan answered back a bit hesitant but smiled at me sympathetically. "it's alright luhan, I already knew that anyway! He just didn't  have to rub it in my face.." I frowned , why was I sad obviously I knew he hated me! it was no surprise!
