Chapter 3

" Lauren, we have a schedule for today. So were not attending school, Chen will show you how to take the subway and Lauren, No its not a sandwich ok? Its like a train dummy.." luhan said flicking my forehead. "hey, don't touch me….." I said jokingly. " but seriously, I have to go to school alone. I don't know anyone there, Tao won't be there to protect me." I whined. " Lauren you will survive a day without us…" Tao stated. " its all because of you, jerk!" I pointed at kris, giving him a death glare. " Stop whining and just leave, I can't stand your annoying voice" Kris harshly said. Ughhh I hate him so much, " what if I get lost?" I asked " you won't Chen will teach you how to take the subway before he goes to the tv station." xiumin answered back. " fine…. Chen lets go!" I grabbed chen by the arm and pulled him out of the dorm. " Oh and Lauren if you do get lost, call me!" Luhan screamed out.

"ok,  so you buy the tickets from this machine. I'll buy you a return ticket so you don't need to buy one when you come back since you can't read korean, and our school is just 4 stations away from here. SO REMEMBER TO GET OFF THE SUBWAY AFTER 4 STATIONS!! Ok lauren, I don't want you to get lost or else Luhan would kill me…" I nodded showing him I understood, " and when you come back from school, it’s the same way but the opposite direction, Lauren. Ok you understand everything now, I have to hurry to the broadcasting station or else the director would kill me." Chen said handing me the ticket. " Kamsanmida Chen!" I said " haha bye, lauren!" he said before walking away.

I scanned the ticket at the station door thingy and walked into the subway, man this high tech country! The subway was filled with people, and I had to stand up for the entire ride. Everytime the subway stopped at each station, I counted until it reached the 4th station. I walked out of the subway and followed the signs that leaded to the school, don't ask me how I could read Korean cause I don't! I just followed the pictures and arrows on the sign lol.

Finally reaching school on time, I walked to my first class Maths. Time for all the bullying and hatred to begin, Yay! Note the sarcasm. I headed to the back row and sat in the corner, at least I wouldn't see Kris for the rest of the day! " well, isn't it that ugly girl, as Kris says, Ha! if Kris hates you the whole school will hate on you! Today Luhan or Tao won't be able to save you, bad luck for you cause were gonna make your life here Hell!" the girl from yesterday warned me, man what did I ever do to kris! " Look here, Min or what ever your name is! You don't deserve to be Kris's fan, his a freaking idiot and a big Jerk! Your wasting your time, standing up for him!" I said truthfully, dude what was so good about Kris. That makes all these girls fall heads over heels for him, they should like someone else like Luhan or the other members.

" Firstly my name is Min ah, and Kris is not a jerk, his a kind hearted Prince and my Love ok?! So don't ever badmouth him ever AGAIN! Or else your really dead!" she threatened me in her bitchy tone. I rolled my eyes and spat back at her " oh, please a prince! What?  you mean a Cold hearted prince… whatever, I don't care, just go away!" now I get what my friends mean of Korean Fangirls, there so attached to their idols like seriously, even I wouldn't do that for Jason Deurulo!

 I survived a day without being killed,literally! Yeah sure after tripping over some girls foot in PE, 100+ hate messages stuck onto my locker, missing lunch and recess again!!!!!!! THE CANTEEN LADY WON"T SERVE ME ANY FOOD! I bet Min ah ,bribed the canteen lady some how… now I was hungry, my knees were aching from falling on the floor and was about to faint. I tiredly walked into the subway and found a seat to sit on at least I didn't have to stand, after passing 2 staions, my eyes were slowly drooping and sleep took over…..

*Ding~  Arriving at Myeongdong  Station* the robotic english translation spoke, wait WHAT?! Myeongdong?? Were the hell is that, I shot out of my seat and ran out of the Subway! OMG SHIT! Where am i????  I walked outside the station and in front of my eyes were shops, stores, billboards of korean idols and sparkling lights flashing  the word 'Karaoke'. Where am i? oh god, stupid me, why did I have to sleep? My legs were aching and I was seriously going to starve to death. After a few minutes of wondering around like an idiot, I found a familiar Yellow M sign, MacDonald's! YAY I walked in and was greeted with the warmness of the heater,  why was korea so cold for! I wrapped my scarf around my neck even tighter and sat in one of the booths, I was hungry! I opened my backpack and searched for my wallet, yesh found it!  I opened my wallet and Australian coins and notes fell out, *sigh* I forgot to exchange my money into korean dollars!!!!!!!!! Gah im so stupid! Wait LUHAN!! I can call him, I took out my mobile phone and called Luhan. The other end beeped a couple of times before a familiar cute voice answered " hello, lauren whats up?" " Luhan, im lost… I don't know where I am! Im in a place called Myeondong help me! Luhan im in Macdonalds and I don't have anything with me especially MONEY! And im starving….." I said hopelessly embarrassed. " Lauren, how did you get lost? And all the way to Myeondong, im still recording for my part the only ones finished their parts are Kris and Xiumin! Lauren, just wait at MacDonald's and I'll send one of them to come pick you up. I'll get their straight away! Right after I finished recording okay? Stay there, don’t move!" luhan replied, worry and concern filled his voice. " ok… but please tell xiumin to come!!!!!!!!!" I begged Luhan. " Lauren, seriously, your lost and you still have the time to worry about who's coming to pick you up!" luhan replied laughing softly. " please anyone but Kris…  but anyway thanks Luhan ,bye!"  I said before ending the call.  Well xiumin should be here soon, I'm guessing. I took out my ipod and listened to the wonderful music of america,15 minutes have passed and I'm on my ipod playing Temple Run. When will bread appear… " ahem.." I heard a familiar voice say, I looked up and saw my saviour Xiumin but he was wearing sunglasses and a beanie seriously, sunglasses in the night… " OMG Xiumin, im so glad to see you!" I said running up to him, grabbing his arm. Pushing him out of the restaurant, smiling like a crazy person.  " Let go of me, I'm not Xiumin, I'm Kris you idiot!" the smile on my face  quickly turned into a frown. " I told Luhan, Xiumin not you!" I said kicking the floor. " stop whining and just follow me!" he shot back. Ughhhh im going to kill Luhan when I see him later. " Follow me from behind, don't come any closer! I don't want to be seen with you.." he said  "like  I asked you to come.." I said angrily, my legs were already aching and bruised, those stupid fans of his. " wait up Kris! Your walking so fast!" I called out, he stopped and turned around waiting for me to catch up, he was clearly pissed " Hurry up, your so slow you stupid snail!!!!" he stubbornly screamed out " It's not my fault, your stupid fans made me fall over." I shot back. Kris's emotionless face fell and was replaced with guilt? he quickly ran up to me looking at my knees. " what? I thought I couldn't be seen next to you!" I said pissed. " does it hurt?" he asked completely ignoring my earlier statement. " nah, obviously it hurts, and its all your fault!" " lets take a rest then…" he suggested coldly. I followed 'behind' him and we sat down on a bench. Awkward silence filled the air, and I was really hungry…. Exactly on that thought my stomach grumbled just great. I faced kris and found him slightly twitching his mouth. " Just laugh, I know you want to laugh! Come on, hit me with your piggy comments" yeah  at any moment now ,his gonna call me a pig… but instead he started laughing, his laughter threw me off guard. His emotionless expression was nowhere to be seen. He looked hot…. " Stop it, im hungry because of your overreacting fans, I didn’t eat anything for the whole day!" I told kris. " yeah.. Whatever I'll just buy you food!" he said, his smile disappeared and his emotionless expression took over again. What a Jerk! " You know, you should smile more often Kris.." I suggested shyly, blushing a little. Kris just stood up and headed to the café giving me a smirk.  Ughh I can't understand him…

Kris's P.O.V

" You know, you should smile more often Kris.." Lauren shyly spoke, slightly blushing. I walked away, purposely giving her a smirk. She was kinda cute I guess, but what made me really angry was the girls at school. I can't believe they did that to her, when I saw her bruised knees I felt sorry and guilty. Yeah sure she made me really angry at first but I enjoyed   picking on her. And when her stomach started grumbling, I bet it was Min-ahs doing, her grandma was the boss of the canteen. Now looking back at her she was tired, hurt, cold and hungry. I was just adding fuel to the fire, making her even more pissed and angry. Should I say sorry? I quickly  shook that thought out of my head, no way that’s just not me. I  walked into the café, ordering hot coffee and a chocolate chip muffin. I handed the money over to the staff and walked out the café. " um excuse me, would you like to buy some gloves.." a middle aged women asked, pointing at her collection. I looked at the different styles of gloves and chose the one that stood out to me the most. A  pair of light pink  gloves with  a cute cartoon pig design on it. This would keep Lauren warm and can be my apology at the same time, I handed the money to the middle age women " cute choice, is this for your girlfriend? You handsome kid" the women asked " uhh no" I replied back  before walking back to the bench. I could hear Laurens laughter, mixed with another guys laughter. I quickly walked up to them and saw Luhan there with her, she had her arms linked with luhans and around her shoulders was Luhans favourite jumper. What happened with him and Melanie? I clutched my hands and shoved the gloves in my pocket, " hey Kris, you took long.." luhan said " yeah.." I said angrily, I chucked the plastic bag which had the food in it at Lauren and she caught it. " um thanks Kris" she replied. I didn't know why but I deliberately walked through Luhan and Lauren forcing them to let go of their linked arms. " ok… come on lets go back to the dorms," luhan announced. I walked in front of lauren and luhan, I just wanted to get back home, I didn't want to hear any more laughter coming from Luhan and Lauren. "Yah, Kris wait up!" luhan said running up, walking next to me.  " hey lauren, why are you walking behind us, come." Luhan said. " Kris doesn't let me.." she whined annoyingly. " What an idiot!" I stated smiling at her. She returned the smile, and it was probably my first time seeing her smile at me. She looked beautiful~
