Chapter 9

Laurens P.O.V

Planting a soft kiss on my forehead, he smiled sweetly at me before pulling me into a warm hug, I didn’t know how to react. Luhan liked me, it wasn’t one-sided anymore. I stood there, my head buried into his jacket, what am I suppose to say? Obviously I liked him, and he liked me but he had a girlfriend, what was he thinking! Luhan what are you trying to do? Give me a headache…. I backed away from him, giving him a smile "Luhan what are you doing? Melanie is your girlfriend, have you gone crazy? Saying that you like me, luhan you're a fool right?" I faked laughed, flicking his forehead. "Lauren, I haven't told you this but I broke up with mel" he replied back, not caring about what I just said. "but luhan I don't want to start a relationship.." I softly whispered back, god I cant believe I just said that arghhh I mean I liked luhan but I didn’t want to be involved in a love triangle or being his rebound girlfriend. He sighed "but why?" he gave me a confused look. "look, luhan I know Melanie really likes you and I don’t want to be fighting with my idol. Secondly even if you do like me I really don't want to be a rebound you know? Back in Sydney I had a boyfriend and he dumped me for a girl that was supposedly 'better' than me, than a few weeks later he came back after me wanting to get back together again… and was I stupid! I cant believe I actually accepted it, then he broke my heart once again when that girl came back from her studies. Luhan I don’t want to go through that again especially when its Melanie my favourite actress…" I waited silently for a reply. He grabbed my hands and placed it on his knees, holding onto them "Lauren you didn’t have to tell me all that, he was probably a stupid jerk! Who would dump such a wonderful girlfriend" he gave me a sweet smile "lauren trust me I wouldn’t do that to you, I won't treat you like that. Only a insane person would do such a thing so please would you be my girlfriend?" he asked pulling me into another hug. His hugs were just so warm and I loved them but I couldn’t start a relationship! NO CAN DO! I reminded myself…  I took a step back and cupped his small face into my hands "Luhan can't we just be friends, really close friends… I mean your part of my host family. It would feel like dating a brother" I lied without stuttering, my feelings for luhan weren't a sibling relationship but it wasn’t a strong love relationship too, it was kind of in the middle but moving towards the strong love thing, maybe his confession was a bit too early… "come on then lets walk backk" I cheered happily. He smiled back, finally! " just one more thing, if I wasn’t me right now and any other member confessed to you would you still said what you said to me just then" he asked. I nodded "mhmm I still would've rejected them" I joked laughing out loud. "ok then friend lets go!" he cheered with me.

Luhans P.O.V

 "ok then friend lets go!" I cheered happily, well even if Kris did confess Lauren's not going to date any of us anyway so I'm glad. Even though she wants to stay as friends, when she needs me I'm ready to become her boyfriend but for now I can be her friend but can secretly look out for her too "Lauren…" "yeah" she faced me smiling brightly "I'm always here for you...and I'll always be ready for you to accept my heart" I truthfully stated.

Kris's P.O.V

"YAH why are they taking so long to come back! I'm hungry!!" tao complained banging the wooden table. "wait Tao! I see them, finally they're coming!!" Xiumin screamed out. I lifted up my sunglasses and glared at the couple that was walking towards the table. "how come you guys didn't bring anything back! You guys went for 2hours and didn’t bring anything back! What were you guys doing!!!?" lay complained ruffling through luhans backpack. "sorry I accidentally dropped it all.." luhan replied back scratching the back of his head awkwardly, "lies.." I said looking up at Lauren, she faced me wide eyed before turning around avoiding my eye sight. "but I'm so hungryy!!!" tao whined like a baby "look I'm sorry! How about I'll treat you all out for BBQ yeah?" luhan suggested "OK!!" everyone replied back almost straight away. "Yah Luhan what's this? Are you guys dating!" Chen randomly shouted out while he flicked the heart pendant from luhans bracelet.  I glared at lauren before looking at her wrist, "so you guys are dating?.." I stated angrily, my blood boiling. "WHAT!!? NOO!!" WHERE DID YOU GET THAT IDEA FROM?!!" lauren shot back surprised, "you're couple bracelets.." lay pointed out. "LUHAN!!" lauren shouted out hitting his shoulder playfully "you said these were friendship bracelets!" she continued hitting him, I smirked at her "Shut up!" I shouted out flicking her on the forehead "OWW KRIS YOU JERK!" she spat back. "whatever pig!" I replied back monotoned "I HATE YOU!" cute….really cute.
