Chapter 9: Return to Auradon

No Ones Pov:

Soon Bjorn and the others soon got back to Auradon and were walking through the schoolyard.

Vanessa: "I'll get these back to the gym."

Vanessa soon left and Jane came up to Ben.

Jane: "Ben, the last minute touches on Mal's gift is set."

Ben barely looked at the tablet as he went up to Mal.

Ben: "Do you want to cancel?"

Jane: "I can come back later."

Ben: "No, we're good just do what you got to do."

Bjorn's Pov.

I saw Ben take his leave as I saw Evie take Mal by her hand.

Evie: "We need to talk."

Isa: "I'm joining you two."

However Carlos stopped them.

Carlos: "No." 

Evie: "No?"

Carlos: "You three are always going off to have your girl talk and Jay, Bjorn, and I are tired of it."

Jay: "I am not."

Bjorn: "Don't include me into this."

Carlos just rolled his eyes at us.

Carlos: "Come on everyone sit."

Carlos sits down and signals for all of us to do the same.

Bjorn: "Very well then."

We soon sat on the ground and looked at Carlos.

Carlos: "I don't know how to start girl talk."

Jay: "What up?"

We chuckled at his remark.

Mal: "Well I'm a mess, I'm just a mess. I mean six months ago, I was stealing candy from babies. Now everyone wants me to be this lady of the court and I don't know how long I can keep up the act."

Isa: "Then don't."

Jay: "See, this was dumb."

Bjorn: "Sit back down Jay and this is not dumb."

Evie: " Yeah Bjorn is right, We are always going to be the kids from the Isle, I try to forget, I honestly tried but those are roots. We all did what we had to do to survive but it made us who we are and we'll never be like anyone else here and that's okay."

Carlos: "Can't change it."

Jay: "We can't fake it."

Mal: "Especially now without my spellbook."

Bjorn: "Mal, you don't need a spellbook."

Carlos: "Mal if Ben doesn't love the real you then he not the one."

Evie: "I'll make some adjustments to your dress and when you're up for it and only when you're truly up for it I'll be waiting."

We soon all got up and left, then Jay stood behind and talked with Mal.

No Ones Pov.

Dude and Carlos soon made their way through the courtyard.

Carlos: "Girl Talk?"

Dude: "Crush it."

Carlos: " Yeah except when it comes to asking Jane out I'm a totally chicken."
