—YOU BRACED YOURSELF for impact as Kaminari's electric bolts headed towards you. You covered everyone under your wings and suddenly felt the bolts jolting from your wings throughout your whole entire body.
You let out a blood-curdling scream and bit your lip so hard, trying to endure the pain. You were biting so hard, you swore it started bleeding. Your legs wobbled in pain, but you were determined to win, so you remained standing.
"Oh my God, are you okay, Y/N?" Midoryia asked you worriedly. "It's okay if we lose this round, I don't mind. You're hurt, we have to get you to the nurse—"
"'Riya, I am not finna lose now," you argued and gritted your teeth, your voice shaking a bit. You and your team took a couple steps back away from them, trying to catch your breaths.
You watched as Iida whispered something into Todoroki's, and then all of a sudden, Iida sprinted towards you all, faster than you have ever seen run before. Todoroki held his hand out, and just like that, he had snatched the 10,000,000 points right off of Midoryia's head.
The crowd erupted into cheer as your team stood there, watching in disbelief.
"How...?" Uraraka gawked at Todoroki in amazement.
"That doesn't matter, after them!" Midoryia ordered, to which you obeyed.
Ignoring the pain bolting through your already worn-out legs, you quickly ran towards the opposing team. Once you got close enough, Midoryia powered up his Quirk and leaned over, snatching the top headband off of Todoroki's head.
"Yes, I got it!" He exclaimed excitedly. Right after he grabbed it, you heard Present Mic announce that there was only 17 seconds left.
Uraraka stared at the headband and her expression turned into a sad realization. "Wait, Deku, is that one even ours?"
Midoryia cocked a brow and scanned the headband and almost immediately scowled. "It's a 70-point headband," he revealed, mumbling.
"Shit," you groaned. Immediately turning on your heel, you sprinted back to the other team as Present Mic and the crowd starting to count down from 10 seconds.
9 seconds. From one direction came Bakugou, lighting up his explosions. 8 seconds. Midoryia started up his Quirk and his arm starting glowing. 7 seconds. Todoroki took notice of this and out of pressure, he had accidentally started up his fire Quirk. 6 seconds. You were looking at all directions, you were confused and stressed with everything happening at once in such a short amount of time. 5 seconds. There were so much flashing lights in one spot, it was blinding. 4 seconds. You closed your eyes and blindly reached out for Todoroki, attempting to take at least one headband. 3 seconds. You felt something. You had grabbed a headband, not knowing which one it was. 2 seconds.
