—SO, YOU MANAGED to stay in the tournament until you were one of the last three students left. The other two students left were Todoroki and Bakugou, to which you were going up against Todoroki first. Whoever won would go against Bakugou.
After stretching and taking a deep breath, you walked out of your waiting room to see Endeavor. He seemed to be walking past your room.
"Oh, you," he grumbled, staring down at you.
"...yes, me," you replied.
"You're the one going up against my son." You momentarily froze. You had forgotten that Todoroki was the son of Endeavor. "Be prepared to lose. I expect Shoto to get first place."
You blankly stared at him as he grunted and walked past you. You rolled your eyes, trying to forget the interaction, and walked on to the arena when it was time. Todoroki walked on after you, glaring straight at you.
Not giving you any time to think of a plan, Present Mic started the round and Todoroki sprinted towards you, already activating his ice Quirk.
You quickly took out your wings and flew over him, hitting him in the eyes with your lasers.
"Agh!" He groaned, agitated. He opened his eyes, ignoring the burning sensations, and sent another wall of ice your direction, which you immediately blasted away.
You made your way back to the ground and ran towards him, leaping over another wave of ice he sent.
As you got closer to him, you hands glowed as you powered up your lasers, and asked him, "Why wont you use your fire?"
He stared at you for a quick second and then harshly kicked you in your gut, sending you about a few feet away.
"Shit," you spat and held your lower stomach in pain. You noticed him getting closer, so you kicked him in the face, attempting to push him back, but barely did anything.
He grabbed you tightly by your leg and activated his ice, heading quickly towards the edge of the ring.
He lifted you up, trying to literally throw you out of the ring, and snapped, "Don't ever tell me to use my fucking fire."
Before he had the chance to throw you out, you popped out your wings and flew into the air, Todoroki still hanging on to your leg like a rag doll.
The crowd gasped and Present Mic exclaimed excitedly. "Woah! What a twist! Todoroki is hanging on to Y/N like a clingy boyfriend! Is this the end for him?"
Todoroki grunted and let go of your leg, placing some ice below him as he fell. You quickly flew down after him, shoving him a little, making him stumble. You two were so close to the edge.
You blasted him with your lasers and with one final kick, he finally fell out of the ring.
"Todoroki is out of bounds. Y/N advanced on to the last and final round!" Midnight exclaimed and gave you a thumbs-up.
