Y/N POV

So, this week has been the worst. I've been avoiding Dad because he seems like he's still mad. We don't even talk at home anymore. Honestly, if I just kept my big mouth shut and didn't talk back to him, we would probably been good by now.

Bakugou doesn't talk to me, either. Everytime I try to talk to him, he ignores me or tells me to shut up. I just hang out with Mina and the girls now. Kiri, Kami, and Sero will usually go and hang out with Bakugou.

After school I immediately walked with Mina to her house. I couldn't stand being in that quiet house anymore.

"You and sensei still not talking?" she asked as we walked.

"Nuh uh," I replied.

She frowned sympathetically. "I hope you two can make up. Aizawa sensei seems like a great father."

I stared at her for a second and she looked at me. "What?"

"No, it's just, you're not gonna say sumn about him being daddy material?" I smirked.

She bursted out laughing. "Well, I was going to, but I figured this wasn't the time."

I laughed after that. "It's never the time to talk about that."

I continued to laugh and felt Mina staring at me. I looked at her. "What?"

She smiled and shook her head. "Nothing. Just happy that I'm finally seeing you smile again."

I visibly cringed, even though I was happy Mina cared. "Ew, you're so corny."

"Shut up!" She giggled and shoved me playfully.

We finally reached Mina's house. She grabbed her keys and unclocked the door.

"Ma! Dad! I'm home," she called out.

"We're in the living room," a male voice called back.

We walked into tbe living room where her mom and dad were watching TV.

"Hi, sweetie!" Mina's mom came and kissed Mina on her head. "How was school?"

"Just like always, nothing new," she plainly replied.

"Oh, come on, it couldn't have been that boring," her dad chuckled.

I just stood there, feeling very awkward and out of place. I guess Mina caught on how uncomfy I was so she introduced me.

"Oh, Ma, Dad, this is my best friend, Y/N."

Her dad waved at me. "Hello, Y/N."

I waved back. "Hi."

Her mom looked at me and smiled. "Hi, Y/N! I hope Mina hasn't been annoying you or anything."

"Well," I looked at her. "Let's just say she likes talking about my Dad, a lot."

Mina shushed me and lightly slapped me as we giggled. Her parents didn't seem to understand but Mina grabbed my hand.

"Alright, we're gonna do homework now," she dragged me to her room.

We got into her room and jumped on her bed. I looked around her room. She had hot pink LED lights and her favorite singers/groups posters taped om the walls.

She grabbed her backpack and dumped all of the crumbled up pieces of paper that was stuffed in there. "Time for homework," she sighed.

I dug in my backpack for my homework as well until I smelled something. I sniffed again. "Something smell like strawberries."
