Midoriya grumbled as he tried to fix his tie, only ending up with a mess of red fabric. He gave up on the attempt pretty quickly, figureing that Nezu probably wouldn't mind it too much.
He slung his yellow backpack over his shoulders, which had all of his analysis notebooks. (Well, except the first two. They were from back when he was 5, and he found them pretty embarassing.)
He slid on his bulky red shoes, and swiftly tied them up. He began walking to the door, but Inko stopped him, grabbing his arm lightly. "Mom, I gotta go!! I'm gonna be late!" Midoriya said, urgency clear in his voice.
However, Inko engulfed him into a hug, "I'm so proud of you, you know that?" She let go of him, and said, "Have fun on your first day, okay?"
Midoriya nodded, "Yeah, I will!! Bye Mom, love you!!" With that, he ran out the door, making his way to UA.
He didn't bother to take in the scenery when he got there, not wanting to be late on his first day at UA. As Nezu's student, none-the-less!! He didn't think he'd ever get used to the idea of it.
He didn't take to long to find Nezu's office, as he already knew where it was. He knocked on the door, and opened the door as soon as he heard Nezu call, "Come in!" from inside.
Midoriya shuffled into the room, closing the door behind him. "G-good morning, P-principal Nezu-sensei..! I-I'm sorry I'm late.."
Nezu grinned at him from his desk, "Hello, Midoriya!! There's no need to be so formal, just Nezu is fine. Plus, you aren't late! In fact, your just in time!"
Exactly one second after Nezu finished talking, the bell rang, signaling that classes would be starting. Midoriya just stared, dumbfounded.
Nezu only continued to grin with delight as he clapped his paws together. "Now then, since today is the first day, we have to do an orientation. You'll have to be hidden from the other students, since we don't want anyone knowing that you're my student yet."
Midoriya nodded as Nezu continued, "However, the orientation isn't for another few minutes, so why don't you get yourself settled in a bit?"
Midoriya nodded once again, looking around the room to find his desk. However, he only saw Nezu's desk, and an empty, slightly smaller version besides it, which was probably for a new staff member. Maybe a vice principal? There were no student desks in sight, though.
"U-Uhm... P-Principal N-Nezu? Wh-where's my d-desk...?" he asked, elicting laughter from Nezu. "Oh, I'm sure you're smart enough to figure that out!!" Nezu sat down at his desk, and began working on... something, Midoriya wasn't sure what.
Midoriya hummed, looking around once again. There were no other desks in the room, maybe it was a hidden desk? No, there weren't any places big enough to hide a desk..
Now that he thought about it, there weren't any new staff members that he knew of who'd have a desk in here... Yeah, there was All Might, but he was just going to be a teacher.
But then that'd mean.....
"No way....." he whispered. Nezu either didn't hear him, or choose not to respond.
Midoriya stared at the desk in shock for a while, "Y-you mean..... Th-this is... M-my desk....?"
"Well of course!! Who else would it be for?"

Eventually Midoriya snapped out of his shock, and set up the desk in a way he liked. Admittedly, there wasn't a lot there, as he hadn't been expecting.... well, this. He also just didn't have that much school supplies to begin with.
Then they went to the auditorium through a back door, which lead directly onto the stage. Midoriya was content to sit on the floor behind one of the curtains, and Nezu walked to the center of the stage to begin the orientation. The staff members were all sitting in cushioned chairs behind Nezu, although one chair was empty.
Huh, one of the teachers must be sick or something... Wait, Eraserhead is the one whose missing, meaning that he's not absent just because he's sick.
He bit down on his lip to aviod muttering, not wanting to draw attention to himself. He listened carefully to what Nezu was saying, which had somehow went from explaining the rules, to a tangent about fur care.
Eventually, he finished speaking, and the staff members began introducing themselves.
Maybe Midoriya fanboyed a little, but he never once drew attention to himself, so no one would know but him.
Nezu might've known too, but he never said anything about it.
Midoriya didn't notice All Might glancing at him, suspicion in his eyes.
