"What is wrong with you?" asked Tay when he heard New's voice which sounded heavy, different from this morning.

"I'm not feeling well, suddenly my head is dizzy," said New from the phone.

"I'll get the doctor."

"No need, Tay. I'm just exhausted."

"Are you serious? Don't worry, New," said Tay anxiously.

"There's nothing to worry about, after resting I'll recover."

"Are you busy?"

"No, I don't have a busy schedule today. If you miss me, I'll be home now."

"You're just going to bother me to rest, Tee," said New innocently.

"Today I can't pick up Nano, can you replace me? This is your chance to get close to Nano."

"Okay, I'll get ready now." Tay agreed without asking.

After the connection was lost, Tay grabbed the jacket and put it on as he walked out of the room.

Nano, who initially came out of class cheerfully, turned to disappointment when he found Tay picking him up today.

"Daddy get hurts if you put on a face like that," said Tay approaching Nano while putting on a face that pretended to be hurt.

"Where is Mopa, Dad? Why did daddy come?"

"Your favorite Mopa is sick, so daddy came to pick you up."

Nanon's expression turned worried. " Is Mopa all right?"

"Don't worry, Mopa will be okay."

Tay crouched with his back to Nanon, bending over on his other leg. "Get on Daddy's back," he said lightly as he turned to look at Nanon, who looked doubtful and unsure.

"You don't want daddy to carry you?" said Tay in surprise.

"Nano wanted to walk," Nanon replied curtly. Then stepped ahead of Tay with a gloomy face while clutching the strap of his backpack because he was disappointed that New was not the one to pick him up.

"Did the child have to be sad when I picked him up?" muttered Tay a little pierced by Nanon's seemingly resentful reaction to his arrival.

Tay glanced at Nanon who was sitting next to him. "You don't need to worry, Mopa will get well soon," he said, trying to calm Nanon when he found his son's face looked restless and anxious.

"Why do you have to be scared? Nothing will happen to Mopa," he continued.

"Nano doesn't want to lose Mopa. Therefore, mopa must not be sick," Nanon whispered, looking down.

Tay was silent.

Even though it's not even a year since his marriage to New has been running, New has completely won Nanon's heart. Even New's presence was able to provide significant changes in his son. So it is not surprising that Nanon can love New so much. Because New gave what Nanon never got so far. That is extraordinary affection, and a warm embrace of a mopa. New's presence seemed to fill the void in Nanon's heart and made his son a cheerful child.

On the way, Tay stopped his car at a shop. "You wait here, Daddy will be right back," said Tay before getting out of the car.

A while later, the two of them arrived at the mansion.

Tay gave his hand to help Nanon down and intended to take Nanon's hand but Nanon just didn't pay attention to Tay's hand and walked into the mansion.
