Currently New and Tay are in New's room. Meanwhile, Nanon slept in Paramej's room. Although this was the first time he had met Paramej, Nanon was close and very familiar with his grandfather. He even said that he wanted to look after and accompany Paramej who was sick.

Because Nanon slept in Paramej's room, New was forced to sleep in the same bed as Tay. The atmosphere between the two of them was awkward. Tay and New were both silents while leaning on the back of the bed without speaking a word. Tonight Tay seemed quieter than on previous days.

"Even though you only pretended to be nice in front of daddy, but I still thank you. Because you allowed me to stay here," said New breaking the silence without looking at Tay.

Tay raised an eyebrow. "Are you happy just because of that?" he asked, unable to think.

"Daddy was devastated after mommy left two years ago. Even though he didn't say anything to me, I know daddy is very lonely. I want to accompany him, even if it's only for a moment," New softly smiled bitterly.

Tay paused for a moment watching New's face, which looked sad when he told about his late mother. Tay had read the news that Yangyiy had died from lupus, she suffered.

"I'm sorry," said Tay in a low voice.

"Thank you," he said softly.

New looks sadly at his mother's photo on the cellphone.

"Beautiful," said Tay when he saw a woman's photo on New's cellphone screen.

New smiled wistfully. " Daddy also always praises Mommy, even when Mommy's face is not as beautiful as it used to be," said New, touching  Yangyiy's face on the cellphone screen.

"Daddy loves Mommy so much. Because of that, he was down when Mommy left......" New grimaced in pain as he felt the tightness in his chest. "It hurts to see a daddy like that," he softly pained as he gripped his chest tightly.

 New kissed Yangyiy's photo on the mobile screen. I miss mommy too." A drop of clear grain fell from the corner of New's eyes as he closed his eyes.

Tay reached out to wipe the tears on New's face with an expressionless face. This was the first time he saw New's fragile figure like this.

New was stunned as Tay's hand brushed his skin like this.

"I just followed instinct," said Tay, understanding what New was thinking.

"I never thought that you had another side like this," he continued.

"I'm just an ordinary human who can also be sad. My cold attitude is only to survive this cruel world," New explained with a voice that sounded bitter in Tay's ears.

"Well, good people are always a soft target to be oppressed. That is why those who are at choosing to turn into bad people," said Tay

"Including you?"

"You thought I was a good person before?" Tay asked sarcastically.

"I think so," said New lightly.

"What makes you sure?"

"You just wiped my tears."

"That doesn't prove I'm a good person," argued Tay.

"Even though you don't believe in yourself. But at least I know... you still have a conscience."

Tay smiled, not the smug or arrogant smile he always showed in front of people.

"You're good at saying sweet, Hin."
