A/N: Above is the video of the song Elsa sings in this chapter. It's called "Cry," by The Veronicas. But in our story it's by Elsa. Enjoy!

❄️Jack's POV❄️

I followed Elsa. I wasn't going to let her go. She's... I mean... what if we're supposed to be together? I don't even know.

I knew Elsa better than anyone. Her favorite place was her ice palace. Her second favorite? The woods.

I followed the path until I began to hear a faint voice singing. It sounded like Elsa.

What would you do it I told you you can't control my life?
What would you say if I left today with no regrets and no goodbye?
What would you do if I told you there was no more you and I?
What would you say if I walked away and left you there to cry?"

"If you left today with no regret and no goodbye, I would probably die a little inside.

If you told me there was no you and I, I'd blame myself for the rest of my life for losing the best girl in the world.

If you walked away and left me here to cry, I'd probably start to run after you, but I'd end up losing you and cry until I died," I replied when she stopped. She turned around, shocked that I was standing there. She got up and began climbing up a tree into a tree house. I followed.

"Elsa, please!" I begged. I could feel the warmth of the tears forming in the corner of my eyes.

"Jack, no. We're.... we're done. I can't do this anymore. This was a mistake." The way she said it, it sounded like she didn't regret it at all. Like everything she felt for me was a lie. I felt like I just watched her rip my heart out of my chest and crumble it into a million pieces right in front of me.

"Elsa," I whispered.

"No." Her voice was stern.

"Elsa, you don't understand," I began. Then, I felt a sharp pain in my chest. I feel to the ground, clutching at where it hurt. But she ignored me. It hurt, but I ignored the pain and flew to the one place where people might help.

"Jack!"

"Not now, North," I said, pushing past him. I walked past the globe. Still glowing as always.

"Jack? What's wrong? Are you alright?" Tooth asked. Her voice was soothing and welcoming. Like a mother's.

"Elsa and I... we... we broke up," I said, trying to fight the tears. But I couldn't. Once they started, they wouldn't stop.

"Jack. I know you're going through a hard time right now, but we have to tell you something," North said, placing a hand in my shoulder.

"What is it?"

"Well, um, there was another guardian. Her name was Topanga. She is-uh, was the Guardian of Love. But she um, she died."

"What? How? Guardians are immortal!"

"Well, the moon says that if a guardian falls in love, and something bad happens, like a heart break, that's what causes the death," he explained.

"So, you're saying, we need a new Guardian? But who?" I asked.

"Ah! Manny has not told us yet! But, he will."

"Uh, Frost?"

"Yeah Bunny?"

"I don't know if this might help your little situation, but uh, here." He handed me some papers. It was a song I had written a while ago.

"If you sing it to Elsa, maybe she'll forgive you."

"Thanks Bunny. I'll do it right away." I flew off.
