"Did you guys get me any?" Mer asked when Eugene and I got back.
"Right here, Frizzy," I said as I handed her a bag. She glared at me.
"Alright. Sorry," I said, throwing my hands up defensively.
"Can you believe it? School starts tomorrow."
"Not at all. But, I guess it's great. After college, then comes marriage," I said with a grin.
"Easy there. It's only Freshman year of college. It'll happen eventually."
"Everything's moving so fast."
"I can't believe it."
