❄️Jack's POV❄️

"Maybe we should go talk to them," Elsa said after Eugene walked off. I was about to agree when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Jack! We need you at the pole right away! Urgent! Come alone!" I heard North say just before he hung up.

"I have to go. Guardian stuff." I shoved my phone in my pocket and flew away.

"What?" I asked as I walked into North's workshop.

"It's Manny. He made decision on who new Guardian has to be," North replied. The moon reflected an image. It showed....... Elsa?

"No! It can't be! It has to be a mistake!" i yelled.

"Aye, I'm sorry mate. I understand what you're going through," Bunny said as he tried to comfort me.

"How would you know? You don't know what it's like to be in love!" I snapped, punching the wall. North held my arms down.

"Actually, I have. Her name was Tatia, and she was the love of my life. We were together the night I died."

"What?"

"The year was 1543. Tatia and I were walking through the woods. A pack of wolves tried to attack her, but I pushed out of the way and told her to run. I woke up the next morning as a bunny, and I never saw her again."

"Bunny, I'm so sorry," I apologized.

"It's fine. You didn't know. But, you're special, mate. Your soul mate gets to live with you forever." I smiled.

"North! Did Manny say when or how she would die?" I asked.

"Tonight, and something about fire."

"Fire?" I paused. "MERIDA!" I shouted and flew back to the party.

When I got there, everyone else had left. Eugene and Rap were sitting in a lawn chair together, so I assumed that they made up. Elsa and Mer were in an argument, but I couldn't hear what it was about. Hiccup tried to hold Mer back, but of course, Hiccup being Hiccup, wasn't strong enough. Merida formed a ball of fire in her hands. Just as she was about to throw it, I flew in and pushed Elsa out of the way.

"Out of my way, Frostbutt," she warned.

"No! If you want to hurt Elsa, you'll have to go through me!"

"Suit yourself." She threw the ball of fire.

"Jack, no!" Elsa shoved me out of the way and took the fire. Right in her heart.

"Elsa!" I screamed as I ran over to her. I lifted her head onto my lap.

"Oh my god, Jack! I'm so sor-"

"Save it, Merida! I don't wanna hear it! Elsa hasn't done anything to you! I don't know why you would do this!"

"True form," I heard someone whisper from behind me, but when I looked, nobody was there.

"Rapunzel, can you heal her?" I asked as she sat don beside me.

"I'm not sure. I've never done it before. But, I can try." She wrapped her hair around Elsa's chest, where her heart was.

"Flower, gleam and glow.

Let your power shine.

Make the clock reverse.

Bring back what once was mine.

Heal what has been hurt.

Change the Fates' design

Save what has been lost.

Bring back what once was mine.

What once was mine."

She unwrapped her hair. Elsa's eyes were still closed. I gently placed her head back on the ground.

"I-I'm so sorry Jack. She's gone," Rapunzel said.

"No! I won't accept it!" I yelled, punching the ground.

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned and saw Merida sitting on her knees next to me. I put my hand on top of hers.

"I'm really sorry. I don't know what happened. We were just talking and I got really mad at her. And I don't know why."

"It's ok. I knew this was coming." I picked Elsa up bridal style and flew back to the pole.
