In afternoon subjects gathered as per the announcement. Everyone had the excitement of celebrating Shivaratri. Dwarka used to have special attention of whole aryavrat especially for Shivaratri as Lord Somnath had resided there.

"Greetings to all subjects who have summoned here. As you all know Shivaratri is going to be celebrated after four days. So, we have decided to conduct a competition for couples tomorrow," Dau initiated the addressing meeting being the elder.

"In this competition every couple will have to bring twenty one pots of water from sea for veneration of Sri Somnath. But the condition is the pot should be placed between the heads of couple, and they should walk together balancing it without dropping a single drop of water," Kanha explained about the competition causing murmuring among subjects.

"The couple who will win the competition will be regarded as representative of Sri Shiv Parvati, and we will conduct their marriage grandly," The meeting adjourned after dau's statement.

After announcement every one retired to their respective places. Next morning everything was arranged for competition. Participants had arrived to try their luck for getting everyone's love and reverence by winning.

"Kanha, all the participants came, but where is Sri Shiv Parvati?" Dau asked while roaming his eyes here and there

"Dau, have some patience. Still some participants are going to arrive," Kanha told hitting his forehead slightly over dau's impatience.

"But most of them already have arrived," Dau sighed to compose his hours long impatience.

"Dau, you have faith on their promise, right?" Kanha asked the question which will get dau's yes as no other was there to work over dau's impatience.

"Of course, Kanha!" Dau told what was expected.

"Faith has patience to wait. So, be calm. Sorry, I forgot that my dau and calmness can't be together," Kanha thought to divert dau's impatience through their all time favourite, banter.

"I am bearing your naughtiness, trapping, messing and riddles. It's the greatest proof my calmness, Kanha!" Dau smirked teasingly at Kanha.

"Ok, Dau. I admit my defeat," Kanha folded his hands dramatically.

After sometimes Mahadev and mata Parvati came in disguise of commoners.

"Dau, there they came," Kanha screamed happily.

They greeted each other.

"Did we get late?" Lord Shiva asked with a serene smile.

"No, Bholenaath. You are on right time. But what's the purpose of this question?" Kanha asked politely.

"Sri Sheshnaag was looking desperate," Sadashiv replied looking at dau making dau smile sheepishly.

"He is always like that," Kanha commented making dau leave his expression over Lord Shiva's reply.

"Kanha, should I start the list of your goodness?" Dau asked in a sugar coated dangerous tone.

"Dau, we don't have time for your this courtesy. I accept my mistake," Again Kanha did back out from banter.

"Mahadev, mata, being a brother I was desperate to receive both of you for my ladli's wellbeing. Don't let my impatience affect my ladli's wellbeing. I am asking sincere apology from both of you," Dau asked forgiveness for his action.

"It's fine, Sri Sheshnaag. No emotion is negative till the time it's under well exercised control," Lord Shiva assured.

"Moreover emotions of a brother for his sister's wellbeing can be termed as wrong even if it's temporarily diverted from the right track. So, don't be bothered more," Goddess Parvati stated making dau relaxed.

The competition got started. Everyone tried. But no one succeed. At last disguised Sri Shiv Parvati declared as winner as they completed the task.
