It's already 8 pm and I still can't find a decent dress to wear.
I bet the debut is already starting by now and I'm still stuck here in front of my closet. I don't have many dresses and I can't wear my Oversized shirts at a formal midnight blue-themed party. This is frustrating!
I suddenly remember the black dress!
Inakyat ko ang taas ng closet to find the box where the dress is and I was right, narito pa. Dali dali akong pumunta sa cr para mag-bihis. Oo be walang laba-laba, perfume lang katapat nito!
Few moments passed and I'm all set. I'm looking at myself in the mirror, checking if my dress is okay, well....
This is a simple black square strap short dress, regalo ni mama noong 16th birthday ko, 2 years ago na, once ko pa lang nagamit dahil sobrang luwag nito noon.
Funny thing, naging body dress na siya sakin ngayon, I gained weight but it's still look good on me. I guess?
Nag-suot ako ng tiny diamond gold necklace and matte black heels, I also did a high ponytail so it would match my outfit tonight.
I grabbed my black formal coat at pinatong ito sa shoulders ko. I called a grab a while ago so hihintayin ko na sa gate.
Next thing I knew, nasa loob na ako ng venue, Late akong dumating, naipakilala na ang debutante at ngayo'y kumakain na ang mga bisita.
Naghahanap ako ng kakilala pero medyo uncomfortable lang ako dahil sa titig ng mga tao sakin as if I'm a gate crasher or something.
I saw Jessica with her friends kaya't agad akong tumungo sa kanya.
"Hoy babae kana pala? Ang hubog ng kahapon at bukas lumilitaw oh! Yung flat na petite tapos medyo makulit eyy!" Tinignan ako ni Jessica mula ulo hanggang paa. "Hindi mo sinabing invited ka! Dito ka umupo." takang tanong niya.
"Member ako ng theater club kung saan president si Ericka duh! Ikaw paano kayo naging close?"
"Nakasama ko si Ericka sa Math competition last month so yeah...."
"Aisl you look stuttering." si Allen.
"Baka stunning kamo" si Jessica tsaka binato ng tissue si Allen, "kumain ka na nga lang diyan nang magkalaman utak mo"
"Hey Aisl, you look super pretty tonight! Grabe I wasn't expecting you to be this sexy." Si Ericka ang sumulpot sa likuran ko at niyakap ako. "Kumain kana?"
Her long hair is beautifully tied in a high bun, perfectly match with her matte navy blue ball gown, revealing her bare shoulders. Ericka is really pretty!
Tumayo ako para batiin si siya, "Happy Birthday! Grabe, you're a dainty!" bineso ko siya. "kakain ako nang marami mamaya, chill ka lang." natawa naman siya.
