I whipped my head around and accepted the fate and started sobbing. My hair covering my face and becoming damp with my tears. Rover looked up at me and licked my face. I laughed through the tears, causing a very concerning sound to emerge from my mouth.
"That's cute, but not helpful," I muttered.
I resolved to push the feelings back down and instead start looking at those files. I got up and thought about my passengers. I got up and checked both doors. Noodles and Acapella had cut their ropes in some way and disappeared, I knew that they had gone someplace that would keep me safe because I still had access to their minds. Mr. Moreno and Missy had fallen asleep.
I kept them in the bathroom, making sure the door was locked. I retreated from Noodles and Acapella's minds. I wasn't going to cheat like that. I grabbed my backpack and left the airplane. I walked to the parking garage and found keys for a employee car hanging in a previously locked door that said "employees only". The puppy had been walking along side of me as I took the green truck with a logo on the side.
"Okay, if I can fly a plane, I can drive a pick up truck," I encouraged.
I didn't bother using my energy to figure out how to work it. I put in into the correct gear and backed out of the parking space with some difficulty. Rover was asleep again on the passenger seat. I then pulled it out of the parking garage and got onto the deserted interstate. Seeing such a broken city was shocking for me, I never suspected this. I guess my brain thought it was just DC but something was really wrong, all over the world. It started raining and I opened up the sun roof thing so the only thing separating the water was glass. The rain pelted on the window and I started the windshield wipers. My eyes started growing heavy and I saw a sign for a hotel on the next exit. I took it. I put my backpack on which had been thrown in the back seat, placed the puppy gently inside, and left it almost all the way zipped. I then sprinted so nothing would get wet into the hotel. It was as empty as ever. There was a restaurant inside. I ate some of the food that wasn't expired and ran up the stairs to the room at the highest level. That way if people broke in, I could just fly out of the window.
I laid down in the big bed and the puppy curled up beside of me. I didn't bother stripping myself of the wet, clinging clothes and fell asleep. My dreams were scattered of people yelling at me to stop this nonsense. Harry dying right before my eyes but the last one would scar me forever.
(The bold is the nightmare)
I was in a wooden chair in a completely black room. In my ear a man whispered, "Let's have some fun before you become broken." I just now noticed that I was naked. The man moved in front of me and did unspeakable things to me. He finally stopped and move behind me again. I hung my head until I heard the voice speak again.
"We are ready," He called.
Suddenly Harry, my parents, and my team appeared in front of me. They looked at me in fear and anger. The girls cowered in fear while the boys moved in front, trying to protect them. I watched in agony. Then my mist appeared out of nowhere and moved to Noodles, before wrapping around his neck and strangling him before he fell limp to the floor.
"Noodles!" Acapella cried, running over to him.
"You did this to him!" She glared at me.
I was helpless, in such a shock that I had just killed someone. Tears appeared in my eyes and I struggled to hold them in. They were killed one by one until Harry and my parents were the only one left. My parents were next except they were pulled apart and ripped in half.
"Stop it! This is all your fault!" Harry yelled.
Then my mist approached him.
I tried to escape my bonds.
