A/N: When I do RVD preferences, I'll most likely just do the kids, but I'll do the adults if requested for imagines. I was also debating to do Josie but decided against it since I don't know much about her (I haven't watched the show in a long time, so sorry if I'm not recent). Last thing, this will probably be more of their personalities in the earlier seasons.
Archie: You wouldn't tell him for a long time and would try to hide your tattoo, but while you two are having a night to yourselves, he sees it peeking out from under your ripped jeans. He shoots up and begins asking you where you got a serpent tattoo. You eventually spit out your secrets, and he's furious with you for not telling him. He doesn't care that you're a serpent. He's just angry and disappointed at you for waiting so long to tell him. Once he cools down, he apologizes for snapping at you and just wishes you to be careful.
Jughead: He would know right away because he would either be the one to initiate you or someone would tell him because, as the leader, he needs to know. But when he does find out, he is terrified but also grateful. He is scared that something might happen to you if you get on someone's bad side, and he's happy because it shows how much you love him, and if joining a gang would prove it, then you'd sign right up.
Veronica: She would first tell you a firm 'no' even though you had already joined and would refuse to believe that you would do something like that. But when she finds out that all you wanted was for a family and for people to have your back, she softened. She never particularly likes it, especially when you encounter some trouble, but ends up accepting it and supporting your decision.
Betty: She first would be shocked because you didn't seem like the person to join, but as you explain your reasons, she gets sentimental. She is happy that you found a good family and even likes tracing your tattoo at night before sleeping.
Cheryl: When she saw the tattoo, she would feel furious and betrayed and tells you to leave because she doesn't want a serpent in her life. But eventually, she sees how lonely she is without you and talks to you about it. You try to make her steer away from her stubborn point of view, and by the end of the conversation, you are both forgiven, and she has a better mindset about the serpents.
Toni: Despite her being in the serpents herself, she never wanted you to join them. She knew the danger they brought or experienced and didn't want you near that. So when she found out you joined without her consent, she was both worried and sad. But as you grow closer to the gang, she warms up to the idea that you can handle yourself.
Reggie: He would full-on flip out but would never yell at you. He would say to never speak to him again unless you got rid of that tattoo. He'd call you insane, and it would be a whole 4 months before you two would speak again and slowly rekindle your relationship, or at least a friendship.
Kevin: He'd be surprised because who wouldn't but quickly brings you support, and he knows that if you're happy, then that's all that matters. He'd never join with you but would help you deal with issues and solve conflicts with his kind-hearted nature.
Sweet Pea: He would be the one to convince you to join them in the first place. He would be so excited to see you every day and fall into life as serpents together. He'd help you embrace it and support all your decisions related to the southside.
