(y/n)'s POV

When lunch finally came I went to the library to meet Yaku. I couldn't see him when I got there so I set up my things at a table and waited for him.

After about 5 minutes I saw Yaku walk into the library and start to look around. I waved to get his attention and as soon as he saw me I saw his eyes light up with joy as he quickly walked over.

Yaku grabbed the chair that was opposite from me and dragged it so he was sat beside me. We spoke as he set up his laptop and got out a notebook.

"Wanna eat first and then study? I'm pretty hungry."

"Yeah can we, I'm starving," I laughed slightly.

Yaku got out two lunchboxes full of (food of your choice) out from his bag and handed me one.

"Woah, Yaku this looks amazing! Thank you so much," I couldn't help but smile as I saw the food,

"Ah it's really nothing, but if you want (y/n), I could make you lunch more often," He started to fidget as he spoke,

"Oh no you don't have to do that, I wouldn't want to be a burden,"

"You'd never be a burden to me!" Yaku blushed as he spoke, "I mean, I wouldn't offer if it would be an issue."

"Yaku you really don't need to, also wouldn't your mom have a problem with you making someone else lunch everyday?"

"Oh trust me, my mom would probably celebrate if she found out I was making you lunch, I think she likes you more than she likes me" He laughed and I couldn't help but start to laugh with him. After we'd calmed down he spoke again,"(y/n), I insist on making you food, please let me do this for you,"

"Okay, but please let me know immediately if it ever becomes a burden for you,"

"I promise I will!" He smiled.

"Yaku that was delicious! Thanks," I said once we'd finished eating,

"No problem, wanna start studying now?"

"Yeah sure, let's get started,"

"Which parts do you think you need help with most, we'll start with them?"

"There's quite a few but I'd say global resources and intermediate technology."

"Ah okay, I think I still have my notes from those on here, let me find them" He said as he looked through the documents on his laptop.

Yaku let me read through his notes while I made my own and explained anything that I didn't understand in more detail than his notes did.

I was shocked at how much more I was understanding thanks to Yaku. I couldn't remember the last time these parts had made this much sense

We'd both unintentionally moved closer to one another, and our hands accidentally touched multiple times. By the time we had finished studying, we were shoulder to shoulder.

I thanked Yaku for the lunch again and for helping me study before leaving to go back to class.
