Happy Birthday Yaku✨💛

Uhh so this is a birthday special for Yaku

This isn't part of the story!

--(y/n) is still Kuroo's sister and both (y/n) and Yaku have crushes on eachother in this story--

(y/n)'s POV

It was finally Yaku's birthday and my plan was going to happen.

I'd told Tetsu about my plan to take the team to the beach,

Everyone other than Yaku knew where we were going, they'd all brought swimming trunks (Kai brought some for Yaku) but we told Yaku we were going to a practice match.

When we were on the bus, I made sure nobody mentioned where we were going incase Yaku heard,

Yaku fell asleep on the bus after a while since and was still asleep when we arrived at the beach,

I quietly left the bus with Tetsu and Kai, we were in charge of setting everything up.

We found a space big enough for the team and set up everyone's umbrellas and towels. Then I hung a birthday banner between the two umbrellas that Yaku would see first and Tetsu put up some birthday balloons.

We joined the rest of the team and the boys got changed into their trunks while I went to the nearest public toilets to change into my (one piece or bikini, your choice).

Once everyone was ready,we went down to the beach(other than Lev and Tetsu). Lev woke up Yaku and Tetsu put a blindfold on him before he saw what they were wearing.

They walked a very confused Yaku to where everyone else was on the beach before joining the rest of us,

"You can take the blindfold off now Yakkun!"

Yaku hesitantly took of his blindfold,

"Happy Birthday Yaku!" We all shouted in unison, Yaku stood shocked for a few seconds before realizing what we'd said,

"Thanks you guys!" He said as he joined us all with a bright smile on his face, "Wait but I don't have swim trunks?"

Kai tossed the bag he'd brought with the trunks for Yaku and told him that wouldn't be an issue,

Yaku went to quickly get changed and when he was back, he sat down beside Yamamoto and asked whose idea it was,

"I'm not sure, Kuroo was the one who told the team so it was probably his idea."

"Oi Kuroo, was this your idea?" Yaku shouted to Tetsu, who was burying Lev,

"What?! No, (y/n) planned this months ago, I just told the team." He shouted back before getting back to what he was doing,

Yaku walked over to me, I was sat putting on sunscreen, and he sat beside me.

"Hey (y/n), was this your idea?"

"Uhh yeah, I knew it was your birthday so a while ago I made a plan to surprise you."

He quickly pulled me into a tight hug and after a few seconds, he quietly said something,

"Thank you so much (y/n), I didn't expect anyone to do anything today and you went out of your way to do this for me. I can't thank you enough."

I hesitantly hugged him back and told him that it was okay,

We hugged for a few minutes before I asked if he wanted to go swim with me, he nodded as an answer.

I grabbed his hand and ran to the water, pulling him behind me.

After a few minutes in the water, a slightly larger wave hit both me and Yaku, it made me lose my balance and fall.

In a final attempt to keep myself from falling underwater, I grabbed Yaku's arm.

This didn't stop me from falling but instead pulled him underwater with me. He grabbed my waist, to stop us from being pulled apart.

While we were underwater, the strength of the wave pushed us closer together. When we came up from the water, we were holding onto eachother, and laughing.

He intertwined my hand with his, and we stayed like that for most of the day.

After a few hours, we'd all decided that we were done at the beach and packed up and headed home,

We all went to mine and Tetsu's house, I brought out a cake I'd made and food for everyone,

Yaku thanked me even more for what I'd done before he got food,

After we'd ate, we all sat in the garden and watched the sun set together,

I sat down next to Yaku and smiled at him, he returned the smile and looked at the sky.

He glanced slightly at me, before quickly grabbing my hand. I felt heat rush to my face and had a sudden, small burst of confidence as I rested my head on his shoulder and he rested his own head on mine,

We stayed like that for a while, watching the sun set and then looking at stars. We spoke about how beautiful the sky looked and about how fun the day had been.

Soon enough everyone had to go home, Yaku and I had to separate. I walked everyone to the door and said goodbye to everyone. Yaku was the last to leave, he gave me one last hug,

"Thanks for today (y/n), I honestly can't explain how happy I am, just thank you,"

As he pulled away from the hug he placed a small kiss on me forehead, before turning around and walking away,
leaving me stood, blushing and confused.

As he reached the end of my front garden, he turned and gave a small wave and a wink before he left.

Ahh sorry, I didn't really know what I was doing with this 😅
