6- a waste of time?

I wake up the next day and get dressed into a hoodie before walking down the stairs into the training room which is when I see Jackson doing gun practice so I walk up to him and practise in the slot next to him.

Anna- Hey doofus.

He ignores me and shoots his gun and gets a bullseye. I roll my eyes and shoot my gun and it also hits a bullseye. He reloads his gun and I do the same.

Jackson- So your killing Payton huh?

Anna- I have to.

Jackson- no Anna you don't. Your just scared of what will happen if you wont do it.

Anna- I..i just cant Jackson.

I put my gun down and start to walk away but Jackson puts his gun down and follows me.

Jackson- so what your using Payton for answers then your just gonna get rid of him?

Anna- its not like that! I don't have a choice Jacks! I have to do this!

Jackson- whatever you say....good bye duchess.

Jackson walks out of the room and i run up to my room and slam the door. I burst into tears and sit on the floor with my back resting on my bed. My bedroom door opens and i look up to see Avani.

Avani- Hey Anna...oh my god what happened.

Anna- Avani is love a waste of time?

She sits down on the floor right next to me.

Avani- no Anna its not. Listen i don't know what's wrong but all im going to say is that if your double questioning something clearly your first choice isn't the one you truly want or else there wouldn't be any double questioning to be added.

Avani was right. Even if she didn't know what was happening she was till right. I shouldn't be double questioning this. I know what i want which is for Payton to live but i know what my dad wants which is for Payton to die. Avani stands up and leaves my room and closing the door behind her. I stand up and wipe my eyes. I then leave my room and of course the first person i bump into is Jaclson. He looks away from me.

Anna- Jackson please..

A tear dropped from his eye as he walked right past me ignoring me. I just lost my bestfriend. Ans to think if i would of just killed Payton when i was supposed to none of this would have happened. I take a deep breath and walk down the stairs. Charli was watching some show on the t.v and i walked over to her and sat down beside her.

Anna- so what you watching ?

Charli- This thing called rividale.

Anna- That's cool so whats happening?

Charli- Well do you see that girl shes called betty and shes in love with this guy called Jughead but heres the thing shes not allowed to be with jughead but shes arguing with her mum and doing the right thing for herself because she really doesn't care about what her mum thinks.

Anna- and how does her mum react?

Charli- i mean she is mad at first but i guess like any parent even in the real world they would learn why you did what you did so her mum just learned to accept it.

Anna- and you think real parents would do that?

Charli- 100%. I think that it would take a little bit of time but if they truly love you they will learn to love your decision.

Anna- thanks charli

Charli- what for?

Anna- oh erm...for showing me this show.

Robert- ANNA MAY JUNIOR GET TO THE TRAINING ROOM NOW!

I jump a little bit and walk to the training room. I walk in and see Chase and Noah holing Payton up. Payton was all beaten up and i felt horrible i had got him into this mess. My dad shoves a gun into my hand and walks over to payton. He stands behind Payton and lifts his head up by pulling his hair backwards.

Robert- shoot him!

Payton looks down at the floor and i feel my eyes warm up with tears.

Robert- NOW ANNA!

Anna-i..

Robert- SHOOT HIM ANNA!

Anna-NO!

Robert-what?

Anna- i said no!

My dad pushes Payton to the ground and walks over to me.

Robert- why is he alive anna!

Anna- he knows where Emma is!

Robert- did he tell you where she is?

Anna- Yes!

Robert- then why isn't he dead Anna!

Anna- BECAUSE IM NOT GOING TO KILL SOMEONE THAT HELPED US OUT AND SOMEONE THAT WANTS TO BE A GOOD PERSON...someone that is a good person.

Robert- what do you mean Anna.

Anna- he has never done anything wrong dad never! He was told to kill Me but he didn't eve when he had plenty of chance to. His dad was going to kill Emma but he stopped it from happening. Plus the fact he stayed here and didn't call anyone to come and attack us. Dad please just let him live even if it means i get punished!

My dad nods.

Robert- you better not be wrong about this miss mischief.

Anna-- im not i swear!

Robert- okay. Boys lets go!

Noah and chase let go of payton and he falls to the ground again. Chase kicks him and they all walk out of the room as i run over to payton. I kneel down next to him and sit him up.

Payton- w..why didn't you kill me anna?

Anna- because you wouldn't have killed me if it was the other way around Plus i still have hope in you.
