Chapter 16: ~Frustrated Rapper~
**Change of Point of View: Chloe**
I opened my eyes and saw nothing. My first thought was.. I'VE GONE BLIND.
But of course, last time I checked, chucking the eye sockets off of someone who is participating in a show is somewhat illegal so they couldn't possibly do that. Can they? I mean, what if there was some exceptions? Did they just chuck my eyeballs out? Are they gonna replace it with some cool robot eyes afterwards?
"Uhm, Zayn?"I called, tugging at the handcuffs that bound us.
Jeez, this was supposed to be a perfectly normal fan fiction, possibly containing a love triangle, a bit of band rivalry and teenage angst. How come it suddenly turned into a freaking hunger games show? Who the heck is writing this anyway?
"Hm?"He responded after a while.
"Can you see anything?" I asked.
"Nope." He replied.
Awkward silence. Okay, the way I see it.. there are two possibilities. One, we are in a dark room. Two, both our eyes have been scraped off our skulls.
The first option is, of course, more practical.
...
Hey, you can't blame me if I can't make any decent conversation. After all, I'm not exactly the social elite at school and I only have about two or three friends, including my mom. I'm not saying that I'm bad at holding conversations, or that having two or three friends including your mom is pitiful,I'm just very hesitant at opening topics, okay?
"Hey, I think I feel the light switch." Zayn said.
"Oh?" I said. "Hurry and flip it on."
I heard a faint Click and suddenly, the floor we were sitting on gave away and I could only scream bloody hell and a bunch of other things that I hope ,for the sake of the parents with kids watching, will be censored.

I groaned and pushed Zayn off me. The room we were in now was brightly lit and it looked like a setting for one of those fairy tale remake movies. Only, much more... creepy.
"Well that was stupid." Zayn commented as he groaned.
"You don't say?" I shot back.
"Well you were the one who told me to flip the switch." He reminded. "I am not following your orders again."
I rolled my eyes and helped him stand up and together, we trudged through the creepy place. It was like a normal little town, only with whimsical buildings and a ghost town aura. We tried to enter some of the establishments but the doors were locked.
"Hey, I just got a great idea!" I said excitedly. "Remember that guy who starved himself for a long period of time as a sign of protest to get what he wanted which was for the greater good? That guy called Gandhi, I think? What if we starve ourselves too?"
"What? That's stupid, we could die or permanently damage our digestive system."
"Well you don't have to shoot it down and add scientific stuff to ruin it, it was only a suggestion."
"I was just honestly telling you that it was stupid."he said.
"Are you suggesting that I'm stupid then?"
"I am--"he began but I cut him off.
"I am not stupid!"
I huffed and began walking fast to get away from him. I took off fast and turned occasionally so that he wouldn't be able to follow me. I even observed that the place we were in was actually a bit huge so it was a good chance that I wouldn't run into him for a few hours unless he went looking for me which is unlikely.
