=CHAPTER 5=

CASSIOPEIA POV:

Luna and I stood in front of our older brother "trying" not to cry. The Hogwarts Express' whistle pierced through the air, signaling departure was near.

"I'm going to miss you Lucien, it's going to be boring without you!" I cried into his side with Luna sobbing on his other side.

Lucien shot his parents panicked looks, but his parents merely stood back amused. His mother even had the audacity to snap photos.

I pulled back, wiping my tears. "You better come back with stories you hear big brother, or else" I threatened.

Luna nodded in agreement, "Don't forget to write about your sorting too! Well miss you and make sure to have fun 'kay!" She told him cheerfully wiping the last of her tears away, because today was supposed to be a happy one.

Lucien was one step closer to becoming a full-fledged wizard.

I held mum's hand while Luna held papa's as we waved the Hogwarts Express with Lucien in it goodbye.

It would be another four years till we got to go ourselves, was this how that girl felt watching her siblings attend Hogwarts one by one, minus the twins of course.

Whatever, on the bright side– our parents took us to Diagon Alley for Fortescue's ice-cream as a treat for "being such good girls".

Yeah right. Last week I broke two windows when I threw an ugly vase at Lucien who made fun of my artwork. Mum said it looked absolutely amazing, Lucien that jerk, ducked and the vase went through two windows.

B–oy did we get a lecture of a lifetime by our mum while papa just nodded along at mum's words. We all knew who wore the pants in their relationship.

Luna on the other hand, accidentally knocked over a vase with some old ancestor's ash in it and Padfoot thought it was something to take a roll in it before running around the mansion tracking the (dead relative's) ashes with him.

It was Papa who had to lecture her since mum was away visiting grandmum. Let's just say, dad has no backbone when concerning us, one sad look from Luna and it was game over for him. And adding Padfoot's kicked puppy look was a double kill.

Poor papa, never stood a chance.

But for the most part, we're good children if I say so myself.

I licked my mint chocolate chip ice-cream in absolute happiness.

***

You know how I met Orion on my 7th birthday, well I met him again on his 8th birthday.

"Orion, Happy Birthday!" I offered with a charming smile.

I curtsied, "Lord Black. Pleasure to meet you." I politely greeted Arcturus Black who nodded briefly at the greeting before turning to my parents ignoring us children.

Taking that as our cue to leave, I quickly lead Luna and Orion far away from our parents, nobody wants to listen to sugarcoated insults and politics. I'll gladly wait until I'm at least 10 to deal with that merde.

"I don't think you two fully met yet, haven't you two?" I mostly stated. I turned to Orion, pulling Luna closer to him.

"Luna, this is Orion Black— Heir of the blah blah House of Black"

"Orion, this is my younger twin sister Luna Lestrange— youngest daughter of the blah blah House of Lestrange."

"Cassiopeia, your manners are still horrendous I see." Luna sighed exasperated, "Heir Black, sorry for my sister's caveman manners."
