Recap:::

I didn't wait one more second. If i did i would have gone crazy. I pulled the collar of his shirt pulling him down to my height. I crashed my lips to his. Letting my eyes close, leaning into him. He seemed a little shocked. Soon, he registered what was going on, he instantly took the lead in this kiss. He sucked on my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I opened my mouth, deepening the kiss. His tongue explored my mouth, tasted every inch of my mouth. I tasted his sweet minty taste on the tip of my tongue. I never wanted this too stop.

But fate seemed to have a different idea. A very wicked idea.

"What have we got here?" I heard a familiar voice. We instantly sprung apart, both of us out of breath.

I turned to the source of the voice instantly regretting it.

There standing with a smirk on her face, was my very own mother.

Chapter 8

Oh. My. God.

My mom just saw me kissing my dad's girlfriend's son. Wow, is that even legal? He's like practically my brother, step brother, er, i don't know. Nor do i care. I'll cross that bridge when i come to it.

"Hey mom." I said awkwardly. I was waiting for her to say something, maybe ground me, yell, something like that.

"Aww!" She cooed. "You two are so cute together."

Okay, wasn't what i was expecting.

"So your not mad or anything." I hesitated waiting for her response.

"Of course not!!! This is so cute. You guys look good together." She bounced up and down. Then she turned serious and looked at Austin. "You hurt her, i hurt you. Got it." I winced she sounded menacing.

"I would never do that." Austin answered confidently. He step up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist as he put his chin on top of my head.

Did he feel the same?

"Good. I don't want my little girl heartbroken."

"Um, mom we like aren't together or anything." I said, instantly regretting my words. Austin tensed up behind me.

"Oh, okay. Well lets get out of the cold come on." Mom turned and started walking to the car. I started to follow only to have Austin pull me back.

"Lizzy. I don't know if you feel the same, but i-i l-like you. And i think we could work." Austin whispered.

"I like you too, Austin." I said honestly.

"Please take a chance on me, would you like to go out, you know like dating?" He asked nervously.

I cracked a smile. "Of course i'd love to." I placed a kiss on his check. "Know we better go before mom is wondering what happened to us."

He reached down and grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers. I looked down and smiled at them. I knew i've only known him for a day. I know sounds kinda slutish to me but i felt something about him. I didn't know what love felt like. Heck i'm fifth teen. Well i was going on sixteen very soon. Austin's different i can feel it.

We made are way to the car, where mom was singing along to to radio. Lets just say i didn't get my singing talents from my mother.

We got into the backseat, laughing at my moms poor musical skills.
