{Lizzy POV}

I ran. My eyes were burning with tears waiting to slid down my checks. I heard Austin's footsteps behind me. Wow he really just doesn't get it. He had already ruined my day. Maybe even my life. Okay i was overrating a little bit.

But i did like him. I know Britney is prettier then me. And lots of guys want her, but i couldn't even keep his attention for one day. It hurt just thinking about it. That he just go off and kiss her after the kiss we shared this morning.

During my thoughts i hadn't realized i had slowed down. I realized when Austin caught up to me.

"Lizzy. Please talk to me. I need to explain."

He sounded so...... truthful.

Maybe i should listen to him.

But he hurt me so much.

"Please, please. Lizzy there is something you need to know." He begged.

"Fine. What really happened?" I snapped as i gave in.

"Okay. So, i had to pee. Then i told-"

I cut him off."I don't need a play by play. Just get to the point. Please."

"Let me try this again. When i opened the bathroom door a pair of lips-"

I butted in again. "Britney's lips."

"I was getting ther- wait!!! Britney????!!! That bitch." He sneered.

"You didn't know it was Britney?" Maybe he is right.

"Yes. I didn't know who it was. All i knew is that it was some slut who wanted to hurt you. And was obviously jealous of you."

"Why would anyone be jealous of me?" I wonder to myself out loud. Totally forgetting that Austin was right there.

"Lizzy. Look at me." He stopped walking and i stopped too. I looked up into those honey warm eyes. Oh, i had it bad. "Lizzy, you are so beautiful and you don't realize. Your pale skin glows and makes your silver eye pop. Your strawberry blonde hair looks so soft i just wanna run my fingers though it."

My checks grew warm as i blushed at his words. "Austin. I'm sorry i jump to conclusions. But i've never had a 'boyfriend' if that's what you want to call it. I just thought i had already lost you. I didn't want that." I let out a sniffle.

" I know. I forgive you. I'll always forgive you. Now lets go home i think you might get sick."

I hadn't notice how cold i was until now. My teeth started chittering, a shiver ran down my spine.

"See you'll get cold. Here." He placed his coat on my shoulders.

"But, but-" I stammered, not wanting to listen.

He gently placed his lips on mine. Heat instantly filled my body. I couldn't help but snuggle closer to him. Enjoy the warmth he gave me.

"Now, lets go." Austin pulled away. I couldn't hold in a whimper more then i could have stopped an airplane on the runway with my bare hands. I wasn't done kissing him yet.

Good thing my house wasn't to far from my school. In fact it wasn't only two blocks away. Also the fact that i had my house keys with me.

I opened my front door. Feeling the warmth of heater.

Thank heaven!!!!! I was about to freeze my nose off.

I turned to see Austin still in the door way holding a rose. Where? I had no idea.

"What are you doing? You stay out there your gonna freeze!!!" I told him.

He held out the rose to me. Looking though his eye lashes. "Lizzy, will you go to the Holiday Dance with me?" He Asked.

"Of course i will."
