What a hectic night it's been, I though as I made my way down to the breakfast hall.
Last night, almost all the Gryffindors were found inside the Library going through every single Book on the shelf looking for information on The effect of Liquid Luck. Snape's homework was due in 12hours time. Everyone was stumbling across books on the floor, the desk, books were everywhere. It was a hot mess. The was the second essay about liquid luck.
Unfortunately I was also in that crowd. Everyone was complaining about Snape's essay and believe me when I tell you it took hours and hours to get the essay down. It wasn't an easy task to complete. And almost all of us couldn't even comprehend the ingredients needed to make the potion and everyone was all over the place. In the mist of all this, i could just clearly make out Rons voice hovering around the Library.
He seem to have took it way too personal. Everyone knew he hated Snape it wasn't a surprise, I mean almost everyone hated Snape I cannot speak for myself of course, hate is a strong word I just simply dislike him.
I walked into the hall and sat beside Harry. Ron apparently was still having a mental crisis about what went down yesterday. Without uttering a single word to them I stared eating. "Harmonie are you okay "? Harry asked me looking concerned " I'm fine, why'd you ask? I responded looking perplexed, to be completely honest I didn't know how I even felt. Was I okay, was I not, it was too complicated and right now I wasn't in the mood to handle complicated feelings
"Noting, you just didn't say a word, usually you say morning or something like that" "Harry seriously I'm okay" I responded to Harry trying to reassure him and I got a nod in response. During the course of having breakfast we all just listened to Ron go on and on about Snape and everyone had, had just about enough listening to him whine. So we all just gave him what he wanted, an audience.
After breakfast we made our way to Transfiguration. We had Transfiguration with professor McGonagall first period. Transfiguration was one of my favorite subjects in Hogwarts besides Arithmancy and Muggle studies.
I was Sited in the front row so i made my way to the front leaving behind Harry and Ron. Draco was sited right behind me with Goyle. And I was sited with Pansy. Noting could be more worst than sitting with a gang of Slytherins. I honesty thought it was annoying and unfair.
I went to Professor McGonagall to argue my case when I found out about the sitting arrangements which was implemented yesterday but McGonagall insisted that I needed to start making friends with the Slytherins and stop seeing them as my enemy.
First of all I don't even see them as my enemy but rather a Competition. I wanted to justify my arguments but it was no use, there was no changing Professor McGonagall's mind, so now I'm stuck with a bunch of Slytherins I don't even like or associate with.
I went to take a sit next to Pansy since she was already there, clearly waiting to annoy me. The look on her face just gave it away. I didn't even mind, I wasn't in the mood for anything so I figured she could just go on with what she's got in mind. But she was quiet, didn't even utter a word when I took a sit.
"What's up Granger" called a stout voice from behind me. "Transfiguration, that's what's up " I responded truthfully to Goyle who was giggling by now. "I hope you completed Snape's homework Granger, you wouldn't want detention now would you" Uttered Goyle half laughing already "for your information Goyle I completely Snape's Homework right after he gave it" i lied with a look of satisfaction on my face and from the look on Goyle's face, he was definitely taken aback.
"Don't waste your time on a weirdo like her Goyle" smirked Draco. That was the first time in 3 weeks Draco has talked to me directly or even look at me dare I say. For some stupid reason I liked the feeling that he finally said something to me although what he said wasn't completely what I'd wanted him to say but no matter.
I didn't even respond to Darco I just turned around and ignored them both. Pansy on the other hand was giggling and really smiling, it annoyed me to just look at her but i didn't say anything at all.
We proceeded on to having Hogwarts History, Defense against the Dark Arts, Potions and then Herbology. The classes all went well I guess. All the teachers were urging us to study and revise for our O.W.L.S.
Every single Gryffindor managed to hand in Snape's homework and I guess it was a slap in the face for him considering he clearly wasn't expecting everyone to turn in their homework so he could give us more homework but judging from his face, he definitely received a slap from us........on both sides of his face.
We had dinner and after that we had our Secret Training secession. During the last few days Harry , Ron and I were able to recruit students who were interested in joining our extra curricular activity and surely enough almost all the Gryffindors joined us with a few Hufflepuffs which included Cho and her friends and also a few Ravenclaws which included Luna and some of her fellow house mates.
We decide that it would be better if we had our Trainings every Wednesday. Harry was taking the lead in training and teaching us spells because he personally had a lot of experience in the Dark Arts. HE CAN EVEN PRODUCE!!A FULL SIZE PATRONUS!!
We found a secret room in the Walls of Hogwarts called the Room of Requirements. It's a magical room bewitched to accommodate for anything a person requires. So in our case we had everything we ever wanted and needed for practicing. So now we use that room to Practice.
There is a secret entrance to the Room of requirement so anyone who is not in our Group would not be able to access it. And we had that to our advantage. We all decided to name our group DUMBLEDORE'S ARMY.
Harry was able to teach us simple spells to defend ourselves. To be quite frank Harry is an excellent teachers. His leadership ability is outstanding but the thing is, he lacks motivation. But not to worry, Ron and I always come in on that part to give him some motivation and he's quite improved.
It was a Wednesday so we had our Practice, it was quite entertaining watching Ron being ignited in flames by a first year. At the end of our practice, we all made our way out of the room of requirement one by one to avoid suspicion.
I decided that I needed to go visit Hagrid cause it's been a while since he had any visits from Harry, Ron or I. I knew it was very late but I thought I'd Sneak past Filch and I did. I was out of the Gates in no time luckily Filch wasn't any where to be seen.I started to make my way down to Hagrid's hut, occasionally casting wary glances behind my shoulders.
The gnarled trees of the forbidden forest formed ominous black silhouette against the back drop of endless blue sky, it gave me a distinctive feeling of unease, almost as if something was lurking behind those majestic trees. The soft rustling of the grass under my feet amplified a dozen times in the echoing silence of my mind. I felt troubled.
And suddenly there was a soft rustle in the bushes near the path I was on. Naturally, I wanted to see what was making the noise. I grabbed my wand as I cautiously approach.
As I moved closer and closer. The black clouds overhead slid apart allowing a generous shaft of moonlight to shine forth and my jaw promptly dropped as my eyes rested on the sight that was before me, shockingly I uttered the words "DRACO?!!!!!"
