The anticipated Christmas trip was finally coming to reality. Artem had gotten an event planner to work out the whole trip.
We were to travel to Saint Barthélemy, a small French speaking country on the Eastern Caribbean Island. I'd always wanted to visit the Caribbean Islands someday,I'd heard a lot about of crazy things about the island because majority of people said it was a beautiful place. I occasionally saw pictures of the island from pinterest.
I got my stuff ready and headed out of my apartment. Artem had rented a private plane to fly us down there and bring us back. He really went all out for the company' s tenth year anniversary.
"I'm so excited. " A staff said, giggling excitedly as we were about to get on the plane where it was parked at the gang hangar.
"Lani come seat with me. " Curt said. Curt was the head of the security department--he'd been blowing advances since I arrived at the agency , but I hadn't even paid the slightest attention to him. He was always doing too much,he even got me teddies for valentines the previous year--I'd been a newbie at that time.
"Nah, I'm good. " I said, rejecting his offer as I walked towards another seat.
"C'mon Kalani, You know I've been trying so hard since last year. I'd do whatever. " He begged as he got up from his seat and walked towards mine, he didn't look like he was going to let me be anytime soon.
"Curt please. " I said, shoving him out of the way with my elbow.
"I don't even know if you're single, but if you are, could you please let me take you out for Christmas?"
"I swear to God, If I had a double barrel, you would have been long gone by now. " I hissed, resting my back against the seat, I needed sleep badly.
"Come off it Kalani, you're too affectionate to do that. "
