Becoming A Hunter (Killua X Male Reader OC)

the last phase

It's my fight right now. The last phase has been going on for about an hour now. The rules were simple. There were 12 people left. If you win a fight, you pass the Hunter exame. If you loose one, you'll have a chance in the next fight.

I was scheduled for the third fight. Not one off the group has been up yet. I'm the first. Leorio, Kurapika, Gon and Killua stood at the sidelines. Just like everyone else. "You can do it, Hunter!", Gon shouted to cheer me on. I looked at him and smile. I nodded my head and looked back at my opponent who was stretching and jumping around. I raised an eyebrow. My opponent took notice off this. "You might be a kid, but there is a reason you've come this far. I'm not gonna take any chances and making a fool out off myself later", he said. "That's fair. I wish you goodluck!", I replied back with a smile.

Knowing I could beat him in an instant, I still wanted to know how strong he is. Who knows, maybe I can learn something from him.

"Begin!"

As the judge finished, my opponent immediately launched himself towards me. With incredible speed, he tried to kick me from the side. Everything slowed down again as I moved behind him.

With the side off my hand, I hit him on his neck. As time stopped slowing down, I looked behind me and saw him tumble over. Noone was able to clearly see what happened, but everyone did take notice off the fact that my opponent was now on his hands and knees trying to get up. A smile appeared on his face. "Is that all you got", he started as he stood up. "I think you need a whole lot more to defeat me!", he said as he launched himself towards me. This time he had a different strategy. Instead off attacking me directly, I noticed he wanted to get a hold off me to stop me from moving. I wasn't really prepared for it, so it worked. He lift me up and threw me to the ground. I rolled over 2 times and immediately want to get up but he put his foot on my arm. I tried to remove it, but I couldn't. A smile appeared on my face. "What are you laughing for", he asked me, "I'm beating you and you think this is funny?".

Everyine had their eyes on us. "You are actually one off the few people that was able to get me on the ground. I applaud you for that", I said. "What do you mean. In this situation I can say what a 13 year old kid is doing here but..", he took my arm in an instant and threw me to the other side off the room while saying, "what are you planning!".

I caught myself sliding on my arms and feet.

I looked at my hands and noticed they were bleeding a bit from sliding over the floor so harshly. I stood up straight and gained a smile on my face. I looked at my friends before speaking up. "Look!", I started as I pointed towards my right hand while holding it up, "I'm bleeding!"

I noticed Killua getting a weirded out expression. "You're not supposed to be happy with that!", I heard Leorio shout back. "Oh..", I replied looking down.

"Look kid, can we just get this over with? I don't know what your problem is, but you do not seem to take this seriously. So either surrender, or fight"

I looked back at my opponent. "I'm fine with fighting, but what would I have to do to make you surrender? Unfortunately, the only way to win this thing is by making the other surrender. But I am not allowed to kill you".

I would never kill someone, but he doesn't know that. And I do kind off want to win this thing. I mean, I've already come this far.

"I'll tell you this", my opponent started, If you can punch me out of the ring, I will surrender. I'll give you 1 free punch. If you do not succeed, you'll surrender".

His confidence was way to high. He should have a bit more.. respect? I don't really know the word..

"Alright!", I said with a smile. I looked at my fist. All I have to do is punch him hard enough to get him out of the ring. Nothing more..

"Go on Hunter! You can do this!", Gon shouted from the sidelines. I looked over to him and nodded.

Then within 1 tenth of a second, I closed the distance between me an my oponent. I hit him in the stomache and sent him sliding over the floor towards the end of the ring. I could feel from the way he took the impact, that he was used to so much more. But luckily for me, ot was hard enough to punch him out of the ring. He looked down and noticed it himself.

His eyes widened.

"But.. how?", he said looking really lost, "how could I have lost from a.. 13 year old..".

I walked towards him and stuck out my hand to help him up. Without surprise, he hit my hand away.

"I don't need your help! You're cheating!", he started to shout. "But.. I'm not.. you gave me a deal, and I took it..".

"Well, I'm not gonna surrender yet!", he suddenly shouted while launching hinself towards me.

I jumped backwards avoiding his attack. "Please, stop! I don't want to hurt you..", I said calmly but also urgently. The guy was really mad and launched himself towards me again..

"I'm sorry.."

With incredible speed, I was suddenly next to him. I put my foot in front of his, and hit him on his back. He fell down on his stomache and I took his arm.

I put my kned on his back and started oushing his arm towards breaking point. "How did you do this! Ahh!!", he screamed out in pain. "I surrender!", he shouted just before I wiuld break his arm. I instantly let go and stood up straight.

"And Hunter is the winner of the third round!"
