We've been already running for 60 kilometers, how much further..

I'm 13 years old right now while doing this 'hunter exame'. It's not that I want to become a Hunter but.. I'm so bored all the time.

I'll give you a quick background story which might come in handy.

My name is Hunter and I am 13 years old. I don't really have a place to live other then sleeping in hotels or motels for the night. My parents have been missing since I don't even know how young, but I've been able to survice because of my natural strenght and abilities. It's not much but they keep me going. I'm just waiting for the day I finally have a goal in my life to reach.. so why not start with the Hunter exame.

I was all the way in the front of the group. How do I know? Well.. I'm kinda having a conversation with the examiner of the first stage..

"I've never seen anyone in my entire lifetime whom was able to keep up with me. Let alone have a conversation. May I ask you a question?", he asked. "Thanks for the compliment, but its not a big deal. I've just trained my stamina a lot in the past few years and sure, ask away!", I replied smiling. "It's easy for me to see your ability is strongly above avarage. So why haven't you done the Hunter exame last year already?".

I looked back foreward. He can't tell my abilities from just running. Maybe my specialty is stamina, but no.. that's not it. He knows more. He must've seen my run-in with hisoka this morning.

"You really should watch out more, little boy..", The man with clown make-up suddenly said. No, not a clow, a magician.. "if you don't watch out, something bad might happen!".

A smile appeared back on my face as I gladly appologized. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to run into you. It was just an accident", I relpied. He must've noticed that I was being partly sarcastic as a card seemed to appear from thin air in his hands. His facial expression changed and he threw the card at me with increadable forces.

People gasped and they emmidiately looked my way. But.. I wasn't hurt. The guy that was standing behind me was tho.. people looked at the man behind me as he fell down to the ground. A card was stuck in his throat which made him gasp for air as he fell down to the ground.

My voice changed to a lower one while my facial expression changed to a less pleased one. "I thought my apology was enough, but atleast I'm glad you missed", I said to Hisoka while looking him directly in his eyes. He stared back without saying a thing. I turned around and walked away. I felt Hisoka stare me down as I slowly got lost in the crow.

"Cause I didn't know about it untill a few months ago", I replied to the examinor. "But surely you must've have known about Hunters", He then asked again. "It's complicated..", I replied not wanting to talk about it. A silence of a few seconds was noticable. "I see.. my apologies for asking"

15 minutes had passed as we saw the end near. As expected, I finished first with the examinor. We enden somewhere on a mountain in front of a forest. A beautifull location as my eyes widened from the sighed. "Wow, is this where the second phase wil take place?", I asked the examinor who peacefully sat down on a rock next to the exit. "I'm afraid not. The first phase hasn't ended yet. The second phase will start on the other side off the forest". "More running?", I said smiling. The examinor wanted to reply but got interupted by 2 young boys who crossed the finish line at the exact assame time.

"Wohoo! I won!", the greenhaired boy shouted at the top of his longs. "What do you mean you won, I was the one who crossed the finish line first", a white haired boy said back. "Na ah, I definitively finished before you". Yhe white haired boy growled back. "How can you say that! It was clearly me!". The greenhaired boy turned to the examinor. "Sir who crossed the finish line first? Was it me or Killua?". The examinor laughed. "You,ve crossed the finish line simultaneously, I'm afraid", he replied back. "Ahw.. but then who has to buy lunch for who?", the greenhaired boy spoke up again. "Well we'll do it like this. We'll have lunch twice and we pay one lunch each", Killua said.

"Alright than that's a deal!"

"We've got a lot of excited and strong boys today", the examinor spoke up. "What do you mean a lot?", the green haired boy said. The examinor didn't say anything back as he pointed his finger towards me. They both looked at me. I immediately got flustered and rubbed the back of my head while looking away. "I.. I'm n.. not strong", I said while stuttering. "Wait, you've finished before us?", Killua spoke up looking directly at me, "but I didn't see anyone in front of me. Especially not a kid". "You can be right in that, I was walking next to the examinor from the beginning. So it's possible you've missed me", I replied. Now lowering my hand. "Wait", the greenhaired boy spoke up, "you were able to keep up with the examinor this whole time?!". I gained an embarrassing smile on my face. "Kinda.. yeah". "That's so cool! My name is gon, and this is Killua!", he said as he stuck his hand out. I took it to fullfill his handshake. I let go of gon's hand and offered it to Killua who strangely denied it. "Well.. nice to meet you too", I said to the both of them.
