(3rd Person POV)

Eliza didn't let Peter do anything on his own for about seventy two hours. Because she was afraid, terrified even, that he would disappear right out of her hands. She explained this to him with the analogy: because otters held hands so that they wouldn't float away from each other, it was kind of like that. She didn't want him to leave.

She was eternally grateful that Peter was back, so that things could go back to normal. Which for them, wasn't very normal. Eliza just wanted to feel safe again.

Also so that she had help with her calculus homework.

They only stayed in Wakanda for another day, because they had to go back to school.

Ned was really creeped out at first, he thought Peter was a ghost, but then he realized he was actually back and crushed him in a big hug.

The other people at Midtown didn't even really notice he was back, except for the guy thats nose was broken by Eliza. To quote him exactly, he said: "Thank god he's back, then that girl can stop breaking everyones bones-"

Eliza almost dislocated his shoulder right then and there, but she was stopped by Peter, who promptly and politely told the guy to walk away or he would throw a basketball at his face.

The guy was really confused because Peter didn't seem like the type of person to threaten someone, but Eliza knew he totally would. If she was in that situation, she would have cursed him out and then actually thrown a basketball at his face.

Another one of the reasons she was glad Peter was back.

After school, they skipped home together, because skipping was so much more affective than either walking or running. Or so Peter has been told.

When they got to the Parker's apartment, May wasn't home, which made them kind of disappointed because they wanted to see her.

So while they waited, they went into his room. He laid down on his bed, stretching his legs, while Eliza updated their web shooters at his desk. Although they definitely wouldn't be going out patrolling anytime soon, because of what happened, it was still good to refill the web fluid incase of emergencies.

"Hey Eliiiiiii," Peter whined.

"Hey Peterrrrrr," she mocked.

"You look really cute with your glasses on," he smiled.

Eliza blushed and turned around in the desk chair to face him. Shuri said that her vision would be fully clear in about a week, but to wear the glasses in the mean time. She also told her that if she didn't want to wear them, then she would most likely run into a pole, so not to wear them.

"Thanks," she smiled, going back to her work.

Peter watched her, one arm underneath his pillow and a soft smile playing on his lips.

"Hey Eliiiiiii," he said again. She hummed in response. "Can you come cuddle me please?" he asked, with his bottom lip stuck out.

Fighting a smile, she shook her head, and stood up to walk over to him. She kissed his forehead and her lifted up the covers for her to climb in.

While Eliza climbed into the bed, Peter moved the hair out of her face so he could see her better. Her back pressed up against his chest, and his arm wrapped around her waist. He moved his head so his chin was resting on her shoulder, and gave it light kiss.

Both of them had butterflies in their stomachs, feeling all warm inside; despite the fact that they had been together for quite a while, they still got crazy nervous whenever they held hands, or even caught each other's eye from across the science class room.
