When I reached the top of the tower I couldn't believe my eyes. There he was, under the glistening moonlight. It made his hair even whiter than it was. The reflection of the moonlight bouncing off his soft pale skin. His lips ever so perfect. His blue icy eyes that didn't contain the cold they usually did.No, they contained softness. Admiration. He was beautiful indeed.
This was when I knew.
I was falling for Draco Malfoy.
No stop Bella. You don't know him that well. If anything you hate him. You hate him for everything he's done to your friends. But maybe just this one night, you can let yourself be vulnerable.
There was a green blanket spread out on the floor, with a basket of fruit and little sandwiches I'm guessing the elfs made.
I cleared my throat loudly enough to ensure my presence. He turned his head to me, and the soft expression that was on his face soon turned dull.
"You kept me waiting long enough." He hissed.
"Be grateful that I'm even gracing you with my presence. I have better things to do than to be here." I defensively spoke.
I went next to him and sat down on the green blanket. The more I saw the color the more irritated I got by the minute. I pulled my wand out and cast the spell "Colovaria" towards the blanket. It changed into a soft grey instead.
"Why'd you do that for?" Draco questioned.
"I just hate the color green. No offense."
"None taken. I guess that's a start to the night. What's your favorite color then?"
"Red."
He chuckled lightly before saying, "Of course it is. You're a Gryffindork. Not sure what I expected."
I was kind of offended. My love for the color red isn't because I'm in Gryffindor. I'm sure his is green since he's in Slytherin and he's always eating those stupid green apples.
"Oh and let me guess, your favorite color is green? No surprise there."
"Actually my favorite color is red."
"Then why did you make fun of me for my favorite color being red?"
"Dunno, reckon it's enjoyable to see you get all worked up. So, tell me more about you Marshall. You're quite interesting if I must say."
Interesting? He thinks I'm interesting? Is that why he's never insulted me? Should I ask? No, that'll only make him upset. Would it? Isn't that what tonight is about? To know each other's thoughts better?
"Bellaaaa? Helloooo? I've been calling your name for a minute now. What's going on in that small head of yours?" He said as he was waving his hand in front of my face.
"Small? Excuse me if I wasn't put in Ravenclaw. I get lost in thought when I think about something too hard."
"That's called overthinking. Another reason why you weren't put in Ravenclaw" he remarked.
"Whatever smartass, you sure you aren't in Ravenclaw? I'm hungry, so what have you got for us tonight?" I asked while eyeing the sandwiches.
"The food can wait, I wanna talk some more"
I looked into his eyes for a few seconds before wandering down his chest. I didn't realize what he was wearing. He was in a black button up shirt, with some light washed jeans.
