As we got to Hogsmeade, I could feel the cold air sticking to my skin. It was always nice this time of year. I made sure to bring my thick white coat so I wouldn't freeze my butt off.

We decided to go to Zunko's so the twins could stock up for their new shop. That's another thing. They had been talking to me more about their idea to open up a joke shop.

I'm very proud of my bestfriends. They seem very happy, and that's all I want; for them to be happy.

"So Belle, who's that guy you were with at the party? He seems wicked." George said while eyeing a product.

"Oh, Logan? He's just a friend." I think.

"Well, we like him. As long as he treats you right, there's no problem." Fred smiled while having his hands in his pockets.

We walked out of the shop after about 20 minutes to go get a butterbeer. As we were walking I saw Logan through the window of a shop.

"Guys, I think I'll catch up with you later. My aunt had wanted me to get her something from here." I lied through my teeth.

The boys sent me a nod as they walked into the Three Broomsticks. I walked into the shop that I saw Logan in and he immediately caught my eye.

He grinned while approaching me. "What's up Bella? Miss me already?" He teased while pulling my beanie over my eyes.

I playfully scoffed and readjusted my beanie. "As a matter of fact, I did.." His eyes slowly got wider. "not." I smiled.

He huffed and grabbed my hand while leading me further into the shop. I only noticed that we were in a flower shop. "Hey, what were you doing in here?" I asked while holding his hand. Logan was different. He wasn't harsh or rude like Malfoy. He always approached me with a smile on his face. He always kept to himself, but he never seemed to be in a bad mood. I could approach him with ease.

"Oh, I was getting some flowers for my grandma. She's sick." He said glumly.

"I'm sorry. I have some experience with that sorta thing. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here." I reassured him while giving his hand a light squeeze. He looked down at our connected hands and smiled a bit.

"Thank you. It's just so overwhelming, I mean that woman raised me. My dad was never around. He was a muggle you see, and when he found out my mom was a witch he flipped out and left her. By then she was already pregnant with me. My mom moved in with my grandma so she could help raise me. My mom travels the world doing some secret important business, so its always been me and gran."

I guess me and Logan were alike. In ways, both of our parents were gone. He had his grandma, and I had aunt Gail. She's been acting weird and distant lately, and Logan's grandma is dying.

"I'm really sorry to hear that. Here, how about we go get something to eat to take your mind off things?"

He chuckled. "Yeah alright. Let me just pay for these flowers."

I nodded and stepped outside the shop, moving the snow with my feet. Logan came out of the shop with a white rose. "For you m'lady." He said while bowing.

"Oh my god get up! You're embarrassing me!" I giggled.

He handed me the rose and we walked hand in hand seeing where we could grab a bite. As we were walking, I saw this cool shop with a bunch of snowglobes.

"Ooh can we go in there?" I asked him while pointing to the shop.

  "Yeah why not"

We walked into the shop, still hand in hand. The door had a bell on it so as to ring when customers came in. We separated and walked through the store looking at all the different snowglobes.

As we looked through the snow globes, I saw a certain one that caught my eye. Although it wasn't a globe, more like some sort of jar. It had a red rose in it just like the one Logan bought me except his was white. It had lights wrapped all around it as well.

"Excuse me sir, how much for this?" I asked the man at the paying station.

"That'll be 1 galleon."

"I'll take it."

Logan and I walked out of the shop hand in hand. I was ecstatic with my new object. Logan looked down at me and chuckled.

"You seem like a little kid right now you know that right?"

"Okay? I like what I bought. Plus the rose you got me. Thank you again."

"No problem. How could I not buy a rose to match the beauty of the most beautiful girl I've ever set eyes on?" He smirked.

"You're such a flirt Edwards." I said as we came to a stop.

"Why'd we stop?" I asked looking up at him.

He had an emotionless expression for a second, before turning subtlety angry.

"Nothing. Let's just go come on." He urged while pulling me the opposite way.

"Logan stop what's wrong?" I asked while starting to look in the direction he pulled me from.

He grabbed my face with both hands and made me face him. "Bella please. Don't look over there. Let's go get a butterbeer now or something come on."

With frustration starting to build up within me, I took his hands off my face and turned the way he didn't want me to.

Oh.

There they were. Draco and Pansy. Draco had her roughly pressed against a wall while leaving marks on her neck.

I could feel the tears start to form in my eyes, but I blank them away. I refuse to cry in front of Logan. I refuse to cry over some douche who I thought was different.

I had accidentally dropped my new rose in the jar, causing it to shatter. It was a loud sound, causing Draco to break away from Pansy and making direct contact with me. Regret filled his face. He tried to speak up, but it was as if he lost his voice.

Logan quickly grabbed my arm and dragged me away.

"Bella! Bella wait!" I heard Draco call out. I kept walking. It was foolish of me to be so naive. To think after one encounter with him he would be something to me.

We finally rounded a corner where I sat down on a bench nearby. I couldn't help it anymore. I let tears silently fall down my cheeks. I kept my head down trying my hardest to not let Logan see.

"Hey hey hey. You're okay. Please don't cry Bella. You're way too pretty to cry over him. Come here." He consoled as he wrapped his arms around me.

I gripped him tightly knowing I should have listened to everyone. I silently kept crying. It was already embarrassing enough of me to cry in front of him, I didn't wanna add more embarrassment by sobbing loudly.

I noticed I still had the rose Logan bought me. I faintly smiled. I swore to myself that I would keep this rose alive as long as I could. Logan was starting to mean something to me.

I looked up at him for a moment. My tears had stopped by now. He put his hand on my cheek and caressed it. "How is it, that even after crying, you're even more beautiful that before."

I scoffed playfully. "I guess you could say, I'm pretty when I cry." I smiled.

Tension arose.

And before we knew it, our lips had collided. Maybe even our hearts. Collided Hearts.
