(TW!) This chapter has several mentions of blood/bleeding and a panic attack. Tell me if I missed anything, and as always, I'll give anybody a recap who needs it here <3

Lacrimæ - (Latin) No more tears

Midoriya stood shaking in the middle of the room he was just thrown in. He hadn't gotten a chance to clearly see who had dragged him from the metal table he woke on, too caught up in the pain that seemed to consume his entire being. All he had caught from the figure was the white lab coat with pinkish stains, though his muddled mind didn't even start to comprehend the strange stains.

The room was large with concrete, almost steel looking walls and floors. There was a dim hanging light in the middle, barely illuminating the corners in the far end of the room. Overall it was a stereotypical torture dungeon without any weapons.

The pain had dimmed enough that Midoriya was able to think properly and assess the situation. He saw a door in the far side of the room, so he tried moving towards it. His efforts proved fruitless when his limbs wouldn't respond to him, and even worse when pain started to shoot up from them. Midoriya quickly stopped trying to move, his mind barely coherent enough to register the harm his actions were causing.

He stared at the door longingly, as if maybe he stared hard enough it would open. His numb mind didn't consider that the man in the lab coat had probably locked the door, nor that they might have security cameras. All Midoriya knew was this place caused him pain, and pain was bad.

Midoriya's legs gave out from under him, and for the last time that day, Midoriya collapsed into unconsciousness.

While blood pooled around his head, two figures stood on the other side of a two way mirror. One wore a triumphant grin, the other with slight satisfaction gracing his features. He had hoped that this would work, and he was correct. Now he had a virtually unstoppable force for him to mold whatever way he wanted. A larger smile grew at that thought, this one more maniacal, crazy and unrestrained. Even the deranged doctor beside him shivered slightly at the sight, not only because of the man, but what his happiness meant. If doctor Ujiko messed up this one, his life would be over. It was a good thing that he didn't plan to fail.

Midoriya woke slowly, it started with his mind becoming aware, but his eyes unable to open. He could feel that he was on the ground, he tried to focus on that, thinking that maybe if he focused on something his eyes would open and the fog clouding his memories would clear.

The ground, it was cold, a bone chilling cold that had settled in the depths of his mind. It was easy to focus on that, to let his mind be entirely consumed by the cold, to shiver at how cold the cold should have felt. It started working after what only felt like a few minutes stuck in his own mind, his body allowed his eyes to flicker open first. That was when he noticed the room he was in, Izuku could remember it, somewhere in the haze that was his memories.

Izuku tried to wiggle his fingers next, but the pain that shot up his arms quickly discouraged that idea. He settled on observing his surroundings, he didn't remember where he was, so he thought that maybe something around the room would trigger a memory.

His eyes wandered to the door across the room first. It was very obviously metal and reinforced, whoever brought him here didn't want him to leave, at the very least, that was clear. Next his eyes found the dim light that hung in the middle of the room, there didn't seem to be a switch connected to it, but it wouldn't make much of a difference anyway with how little light was actually being let out. Observing the light led Izuku's eyes to the wall behind it. On first glance it looked completely normal, but as he looked closer he could see the strange color. It didn't match any of the other walls in terms of color, which was strange seeing as they all appeared to be made of the same material, but his suspicions stopped there. Midoriya couldn't move anyway, what was the point in trying to investigate the anomalies of this cell-thing?
