It's Time

"Spencer" you grabbed on to the fabric of his thigh as watched the traffic ahead of you begin to flow heavier

"If I go any faster we will crash" his grip on the wheel got tighter and his knuckles began to turn white

"Spencer" you said in the most soothing tone as you could and rubbed your hand lightly up and down

"Yeah"

"We are in a government issued vehicle" a very condescending tone left your mouth. Your nails dug into his skin as another wave of pain came across you "Turn on the god damn siren and get me to that hospital NOW"

"Right I should do that" he whispered a panicked voice under his breath

You pulled out your phone and looked through your contacts until you found Emily's. You stupidly forgot to save your doctors number but gratefully had Emily to save the day

"Y/n where did you and Spencer go"

"Call Ally and tell her that my water broke" you groaned in pain "Tell her that my contractions are five minuets apart"

"Wait wha-"

"Emily NOW" you hung up your phone and threw it in the back seat

"Calm down we are almost there" Spencer's eyes widened when he realized that he told you to calm down. There was a long pause of silence, he knew you were giving him the death glare "Please don't kill me"

You were now laying in a hospital bed and holding on to Spencer's hand while your doctor checked how dilated you were

"Y/n it's time to push" she began to page some nurses and started to prep a table sitting next to her

"But she isn't due yet"

"Well this baby decided to meet her parents earlier than planned" she flashed you a big smile but all you could do was panic

"No I can't push yet" sweat was dripping down your face and you turned to look at Spencer

"Baby I know your scared but it's okay we got you" he took the washcloth in his hand and lightly dabbed it across your forehead

"No I can't please no" you begged

"Yes you can" he grabbed a chair and sat besides you

"She's not safe out in the real world. She's safe in here where Cat can't get to her" you looked down

"Y/n look at me"

"What if someone takes her" your voice cracked and tears were about to trickle down your face

"Look at me"

"You out of all people know the statistics what if-"

"Y/n" Spencer looped his fingers with yours and lifted them to his face

"No one is taking anyone. I will make sure that Cat will never lay a finger on you or this child. I promise that I will do everything I can to keep my family safe. Okay" He kissed your hand and wiped your tears

You whimpered and took a deep breath. "Okay"

Hours passed by. Everything felt like it was going in slow motion and the pain was endless. No amount of mommy books or blogs or classes could have every prepared you for the hours of intense pain and labor.

"We can see the top of her head" a nurse called out

"You are almost there baby just breathe" Spencer's eyes were away from you and trying to look at what was happening down below
