The short life of Kyrah Swanson

Prologue

     Everybody knows about the Marauders of Hogwarts, it's like the three Musketeers only slightly better and with magic. But Kyrah Swanson grew up with one of the Marauders, you see so she knew them, she didn't just hear about them or read about them, she actually survived living with one of them!

     Introductions are probably in order, Kyrah Swanson – to her Aunt Walburga Black's utter disgust - is a half-blood witch of mere 11-years of age, or so she was told. She lived with her aunt and uncle and their two sons, Sirius and Regulus Black.

     Kyrah's mother died a few years ago and she never knew her father, her aunt practically retches whenever she dares mentioning him, because you see her aunt is what one would call a Pure-blood supremacist. Kyrah still remembered that before her mother had passed away her Aunt Willa told uncle Orion that she'd rather die than take in a half-blood brat like Kyrah into her home. Kyrah had scoffed at that as she sat with her two cousins and heard Sirius mutter "Nobody decent wants to live in this place anyway."

     Let me tell you about this dysfunctional arrangement. Aunt Walburga is a very large woman with no neck and black curly hair that frames her face nicely, she has black soulless eyes. Aunt Willa favors Regulus because he - unlike Sirius - never talked back to her and showed signs of believing in the pure-blood nonsense. Uncle Orion was a tall muscular man; he loved both his sons equally and acted like a father to Kyrah. He had grey eyes and light brown hair. Sirius was exactly like his father, both of them liked a good chuckle and a good prank. Sirius had his mother's dark hair and his father's grey eyes. Kyrah loved Sirius, he always told everyone that they met that Kyrah was his sister – much to his mother's frustration. Regulus is a head shorter than Sirius and he too had his mother's dark hair and also her eyes.

     Kyrah on the other hand, stuck out like a sore thumb. She have long silvery blond hair and bright blue eyes and much like Sirius she too loved a good laugh and a great prank; this was one reason why she loved Sirius as though he was her twin.

     You see Kyrah's story isn't to tell you to meet the Marauders, heck no! They were ordinary boys who happened to do great things, you see Kyrah's story is important because she was murdered by one of the four Marauders, and it's time everyone heard about it.
