OUTSIDE HOGWARTS, NEAR THE ISLAND, NIGHT

Before Theseus could stop her, she grabbed his wrist and disapparated.

"Tina, wait, what–"

"I'll distract him!" She told him as Grindelwald turned around to see them, "You go save Newt!"

Grindelwald had just got off the boat onto the island. He began to fire spells at her rapidly, all of which she managed to deflect. As he was about to turn his attention to Theseus, she shot spells his way and it was now his turn to defend himself.

"Theseus!" She said, casting a glance in his direction.

Theseus gave a hesitant look at Grindelwald before diving in.

She was doing well at holding Grindelwald off until she glanced back at the water. She saw a dark shadow belonging to Theseus as he swam deeper.

Grindelwald shot her a spell that she hadn't exactly prepared herself for, and she quickly countered it with one of her own. The beams of light clashed, white against red. His spell was slowly pushing her back as the red spell was shrinking. Suddenly, he disappeared into his cloak, it seemed, then reappeared right behind her with a wand pointing right at her head.

"Don't move, Porpentina. Don't. Just tell me where the cloak is, and I'll let you go unharmed."

Tina redirected her wand up at his hand, but with his free hand, he grabbed it and cast it aside.

"Only if you tell me if my sister's alive or not," She said in a tone that she hoped sounded outraged, rather than scared.

There was a short silence. Then he replied, "She's alive."

"She is? Where is she?"

"The deal was to tell you whether she was alive or not, not her whereabouts. Now tell me where the cloak is."

The sound of Theseus and Newt getting out of the water behind her could be heard. Still keeping her in the headlock, Grindelwald spun her around to face them as protection for himself in case one of them decided to attack. He still kept his wand to her forehead threateningly.

"Tina," Newt mouthed, drenched in water, still breathing heavily.

"Tell me where the cloak is, and I'll let her go!" He raised his voice.

"It's–"

"Newt, no!" Theseus clapped his hand around his brother's mouth, "There'll be some other way to get her–"

"Tell me where it is!" He jabbed the tip of his wand into her head hard and she yelped in pain.

"The cloak is in–"

"NEWT, STOP!" It was now Tina's turn to protest.

"I won't let him hurt you!"

"WHERE IS IT!?" Grindelwald roared, pressing his wand tip to her head once more.

"Newt, don't–" Tina sobbed.

"IT'S RIGHT BEHIND YOU!" Newt yelled.

Grindelwald still kept a tight arm around her. "What do you mean?"

"It's in the– oh, shut up, Theseus, I'll tell him whether you like it or not! It's in the tree behind you."

Cautiously, Grindelwald stepped backwards with his arm still around her neck. Keeping his eyes on Newt and Theseus, he reached down into the hollow of the tree with his free hand. He smiled as his hand touched what he was after.

"Thank you, Mr Scamander," He said, still looking at Newt as he brought out the silvery cloak. He then let go of Tina and disapparated.

He's able to disapparate on Hogwarts grounds? Tina thought. Oh... that makes sense, the teachers must have lifted the apparition boundaries to evacuate students. That's how Theseus and I apparated to the island.
