When we arrived at the hospital, the nurses immediately bring Chenle to the operating room. I'm holding his bag and phone so I dialed his mom's number to tell her what happened to his son.She panicked, of course. She's on a vacation right now but because Chenle is more important to him, she said that she's going to be here in less than a day. Chenle is a nice guy. He doesn't deserve all of this.
I was staring at the white ceiling of the hospital while sitting on a corner, hugging myself. The scenario keeps on repeating on my mind from the time I betrayed Chenle to the time that he got hit by a car.
I know the accident was not my fault, but I still blame myself for what happened. If I didn't got scared of Han Sook and Nam Joo, does Chenle will still got hit by a car? I hug myself tighter and closed my eyes to whisper a silent pray.
An hour later, the door of the operating room opened so I immediately stood up to ask how's Chenle's condition.
God knows how happy I am when the doctor smiled at me.
"The operation was successful, student. But he have a big cut on his head so he's in a coma right now. We also don't know when will he be awake so I'm now going to warn you. Even he's condition is now stable, there's still a possibility that he won't wake up anymore." The doctor said.
It caught me off guard and I feel like the world collapsed.
What does he mean that there's a possibility that he won't be awake anymore?
Is that a joke?
The thought made me mad, but I calmed myself down. At least the operation went successful. All I need to do right now is to hope and wait for Chenle to wake up.
I know he's going to be awake. He's brave.
I wish I was brave like him.
