Sight...

Finally, the day is over...

To be honest, as good as her school day went, it still was pretty exhausting. So she thought that maybe a little walk could be beneficial to calming her nerves and tense muscles before heading home.

Packing for belongings she made her way out if class, notifying Sabrina that was heading to Miss Bustier to have what seemed to be like a conversation (what else would they be having ( ̄— ̄)

She was digging into her half-closed bag when she was interpellated by a familiar voice; Marinette's.

She cringed at that; not that she doesn't like the baguette, on the contrary, it was even the cause of her discomfort. The young Dupain-Cheng became such a lovely person, radiant and always obliging when needed. And Chloe longed to be like her. It used to irritate her in the past, that the newbie was so loved and had so many friends in the span of so little time. As for herself, well Chloe tried so hard to be accepted when she first integrated the Francoise Dupont school. And old arrogant Chloe fell into the deep pit of jealousy...

But manners came first, and as embarrassed as she was of facing the baguette that accepted her so warmly, she smiled and made her way towards her. Marine wasn't alone: of course, her boyfriend was with her; as it seemed that since they got together they stuck like glue; Alya and Nino, and finally Kagami was by her side.

The blind couldn't help but feel a pang in her heart as she looked at the other.

I usually come here with Kagami.

Not wanting to make eye contact, Chloe settled on roaming her gaze through the school's field, in search of Nathaniel. But her session was soon cut short.

- Hey Chloe! We're you going home?

It was Marinette. Her voice was so sweet and inviting, as if trying to convince her that she was on friendly terms now.

- Ehm... No, I wanted to grab a drink beforehand.

- Oh you could go to the cafe Luka works at! Kagami was heading there but I think something came up right?

She said, now addressing the shorter female.

- Yeah I have fencing training and I kinda forgot so I have to go home and bring my bag.

Kagami's voice was deep and mysterious. It did give her a slightly intimidating aura but she still seemed friendly. Or was that what Chloe tried to convince herself.

Nonetheless, the blond hummed, suggesting if anyone wanted to go with her and as they all denied she bid goodbye and was on her way, somehow relieved.

Social awareness was still a major problem for her as she never really knew how to interact properly with people, and that goes without saying, looking at her previous ways.

Her earphones finally out and detailed, she places them in her ear and taps the random button. Aznavour's voice whistled in her drums as she walks at a steady pace, neither eager to arrive at the cafe nor her house.

But as she came in front of the familiar glass dour and green sight, she removed her earpiece and pushed her way in.

The welcoming coffee bean odor instantly hitting her as the warmth hugged her frame. Pris did tend to get a bit chilly during fall...

- Hello welcome Miss would you like something? One moment I will be right there for you...

For some odd reason, the blond felt her heart accelerate a tad more, and only that she assures you, as of hearing the azurite's voice.
