Huff
Finally, she was home. Exhausted, she threw herself on the bed, her body laying limp for a moment and then reaching her hand for her phone. She frowned, seeing that there were no missed calls or messages form the person she was hoping.
That could he be doing? He promised he would call...
A sight left her lips as she let her phone down and shot her body up, now sitting on the edge of the bed. She hummed, staring at her bear feet.
I should take a walk outside...
She remembered that she had to meet Luka later so that gave her an excuse to do some exercise despite her being reculent because of her laziness.
The time she spent at the cafe was really fun, she got to see how everyone was coming along and how life was treating them. She was more than happy to see they they were all happy and healthy, as basic as that sounds. But she was tired and didn't even want to go with Luka. But the boy was persistant and managed to make her tag along.
She made her way to her closet, deciding that the jeans and the shirt she was wearing weren't really suitable nor confortable for the 'occasion'. So she opted for a white tang top and a paire of red striped joggings. She was a bit reculant to go and meet the azurite in such a casual outfit but she just shrugged off, settling with her choice. Finally, she slipped on some trainers and a jacket, just in case.
She took a last look at her reflection before exiting the room and making her way to the elevator. All throughout the ride, she kept staring at an immaginary dot in front of her, as if that same dot would give her the answers to her questioning.
6:39 PM—
Panting, she finally made her way to the Louvre m. It wasn't really that far away from the Hotel De Ville but still enough for her to get that cardio going. It has been a long time since she got out and actually ran. For in New York the winters were really harsh and the snow made it almost impossible to even walk, let alone run, as for the summers well she preferred just laying around in her room painting or singing (badly in her opinion) to the old jazz songs on her phone.
If she could describe her life with her mother back in the US in one word, it would be relaxing, but also rollercoaster. Sure she had her ups and downs and most of the times the ups were really amazing when the downs could be really bad. All in all she could say it was a really weird and beneficial experience. Because she would never trade her time there for anything else. She enjoyed it a lot and got to meet people that really held a meaning to her now and others that maybe she would have liked to erase from her memories.
