A/N: Ack I just realized this chapter have been in my docs since, like, AUGEST and I am really frustrated for not updating this earlier.
Sorry!

The rest of that day went normal. And not normal. In a way, both.
All of their training still happened that day, but Silverwashed, Comma, and Yew still did not come back.
So the day went pretty boring with Jade and Firesky still ignoring each other. June tried to convince them to make up several times, but then they started to ignore her.
June was glad to be finally asleep again, but in the morning it was... pretty unsettling.
"What is going on?" Firesky questioned loudly. "IVY AND DRAGONTRAP WHAT IS GOING ON?"
June got up and saw what he ment. His wrists were glowing a bright orange, like lava under his scales.
But that wasn't possible.
Was it?
"Jade?" Firesky asked. "Can you help?"
"Don't ask me." Jade said, her eyes closed. "I'm still not over our fight the other day."
"It's happening to you as well." Firesky muttered. "Only not as bright."
Jade looked down at her wrists. "Oh, yeah. They are." Firesky's was by far the brightest, but June's seemed a bit different. One of her wrists were glowing bright like Firesky's, but her other wrist was a weird, plant like, green.
"What if this is what happened to Silverwashed and  Comma?" June worried. "What if this is like, a warning from the spirit of Clearsight that we are all going to die?"
"You are NOT all going to die." Dragontrap grumbled. "Stop being lazy and come out of there. We are going to learn MORE about the history of Silkwings and what Wasp did to them."
"Why are we even called Silkwings when we don't have any silk?" June asked.
"Shut up." Dragontrap hissed.
"Why don't we have wings?" June questioned. "Why did Wasp even want Silkwings when they can't do anything?"
"I said, SHUT UP." Dragontrap growled.
"Why are you even raising us here when we can't do anything? Silkwings don't seem like a tribe worth living."
"BE QUIET." Dragontrap roared.
"What if we are hungry?" Jade said.
"ARE YOU ALL DEAF? BE QUIET!" Dragontrap whirled around, startling the three dragonets. "HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU ALL TO BE QUIET?"
The rest of the walk to the history cave was quiet, even though several times Jade or June would open their mouths, remember what Dragontrap said, and would close them again.
"Why do I feel uneasy?" Firesky asked as soon as his talons entered the history cave. "I feel like a great doom is going to settle on us very soon"
"Nothing is going to happen to any of you." Dragontrap said. Ivy was being very quiet... why was she so quiet?
"But WHY are they glowing all of a sudden?" June asked. "One day, we're fine. Next day, WE ALL ARE THINKING THAT WE ARE GOING TO DIE."
"This never happened to Leafwings though." Dragontrap said.
"We are not Leafwings." Jade pointed out.
"Ok, I can't take this anymore!"  Ivy burst out. "You all go through something called metamorphosis!"
"IVY!" Dragontrap roared.
"You all get some silk and stay in a cocoon for five days and then you come out with wings." Ivy continued, talking fast. "And that's what's happening to Silverwashed and Comma right now. Yew is just staying with them to make sure nothing happens."
"WHAT?!" Firesky exploded.
"You could have mentioned that a bit earlier." Jade growled.
"IS IT GOING TO KILL US?" June asked.
"No, it won't." Dragontrap hissed. "Ivy wasn't supposed to tell you."
"I had to!" Ivy protested. Dragontrap glared at her.
"It shouldn't happen for another two hours." He hissed. "Go back to the sleeping cave. History class is canceled." Dragontrap shoved through the Silkwings and beckoned Ivy to follow him. She ran past the Silkwings politely (unlike Dragontrap did) and was begging to Dragontrap not to be put in trouble.
"Well." Jade said. "That was more dramatic then it should have been."
"Agreed." Firesky started to pace. "But why are mine so bright? There has to be some explanation to that."
"Actually," June said. "I may be able to find out for you."
